Yes indeed but only US pharmacies do this.. perhaps other countries also but I know Mexico doesn't.. I believe the ones that do, do so in order to prevent drugging drinks... it's like they use the most obnoxiously tasting in actives during the manufacturing process.

Well a nasty(I'm guessing bitter) taste would be much harder to cover up than a nice chocolate or strawberry tasting pill, using a sweet or nice taste would kinda defeat the purpose if it is meant to prevent spiking drinks.
