Does anyone have questions on bodybuilding supplements?

It sucks I know p-mo. I was just thinking this morning where I'm gonna get $50 from to buy another 10lbs of ON Whey :\

Damn- wish it was that cheap in the UK. I pay around $30 for 2lbs of the cheapest own brand stuff known to man. Maybe importing would be cheaper...

Last weekend a friend gave me ~40 pounds of elk meat, but i suppose i still need to buy protein powder (i dont know if i should eat a bunch of elk prior to and after exercise). I think the meat is pretty lean, but still, im not sure about this...

Wow- elk sounds good! Bit like venison?

Great article in the October 2007 issue of Muscular Development about NSAIDs and too much fish oil inhibiting gains. We in the bodybuilding community are already aware of NSAIDs but, personally, fish oil is news to me.

I will attempt to look for the two specific studies mentioned in the article for myself and others to review.

By increasing omega-3s, you lower levels of PGF2A and PGE2 via reducing muscle inflammation and lower arachidonic acid production. On the other hand, by increasing omega-3s, you reduce pain, improve insulin sensitivity, glucose uptake and reduce cardiovascular risk factors. I am not suggesting that you completely eliminate omega-3 fatty acids from your diet...just don't go ape shit and consume mega dosages of fish oils- they may be suppressing inflammation along with muscle protein synthesis.

This was the article I was speaking about in my "fish bad for muscle?" post... from personal experience I can say it DOES inhibit gains. Then again I consumed large amounts of fatty fish and olive oil on a daily basis...

Literally I'd take a handful of them, ten or more at a time 2-3 times a day( to satisfy caloric requirements in between classes when i couldn't cook), plus I'd eat salmon and olive oil for almost every meal.

the results were horrible. I literally ran in place for 2 months before seeing the article and realizing what was going wrong.

Exactly what I used to do, bring this huge insulated lunch box to work with me everyday. Minimum 3 times per day someone would make some kind of wise ass comment about my lunch box and how much food I eat.

Yeah, the stares i get, not so great, but i am poor and don't wanna shell out more money for a new one, heh.

Im about to do a cycle of Tokkyo Trenbolone.. I just have a few questions before I begin my cycle. And I already know what I'm getting myself into, so please don't tell me that hard work and good nutrition is a better route, I've heard it too many times.

Whats the best pct for this?
Best way of telling that it is legit?
From anyones personal experience, was there good gains/worth the money?
Has anyone actually gotten any side effects from it?

Any responses to these questions would be appreciated, thanks BL.

Didn't you JUST buy whey? 8) I know you told us not to bitch but.... :\

Anyways best stacked with test + AI. Probably something short like prop. What ester of tren you getting, Iv not heard of the tokkoyo lab so I dunno what they put out.

PCT of nolva or clomid - whatever you'd prefer, but its always best to have some nolva on hand anyways in case of gyn-effects, so I would sugest that. I know tren doesn't aromotise but you might get some rebound or progesterone (sp?) issues.

But seriously how long you been lifting? I've been on/off 5 years and still cant get my diet down enough for steriods to be worth it. If you dont eat enough your not gonna see gains...

So you've "heard it too many times" eh? Hmmm...sounds like you aren't following the advice if you've "heard it too many times". Once would have been enough for most.

Whats the best pct for this?
p-mo already answered

No way to know for sure. If you get a huge abscess after first injection, it's bad. If your cycle is over and you gained nothing, it's bad.

test, test & more test should have been you're first cycle...NOT TREN!! Let alone a tren only cycle.

Has anyone actually gotten any side effects from it?
YES! Tren is a pretty harsh compound compared to others.

If you're selecting tren as your first cycle, you have A LOT more research to do. And while you do that you could get your diet and workout fine tuned.

I've been lifting for 4 strong years, no off time. The only reason I say I've heard it too many times is because most of the time no matter what the question be I get the same answer back. Thanks for the answers fellas.

You might wanna pick up some Viagra if your running tren only ;)
