December Getting/Staying Clean/Sober Thread, v More Holidaze Ahead

^Congratulations cyberius and RDP89. 90 days is longer than I've ever gone.

I'm on day 12 of sobriety. The longest stretch of being sober since 2014. I mostly feel better, but I feel somewhat similar to what you're feeling cyberius. My anxiety and depression still lingers and going to a bar sober is just awkward in my opinion. I don't know..my thinking is clearer though and I like that. Still indecisive as fuck but perhaps that will get better with time. I really want a relationship other than family and friends.

Backs flaring up, hurts like hell. Been putting off going to a doctor because I don't wanna be put on painkillers.

I cannot remember the last time I took my nemesis : opiate pain killers. I know I had some cough syrup w codeine in September -- I had horrible bronchitis and was prescribed 2 bottles of that. I took it responsibly.

The actual hydrocodone pills tho..... it's been so long I can't recall.
And THAT is a wonderful thing.
