So i'm hearing on the news lately about the new female viagra or whatever... So.. first thing I thought of was...all they need is gabapentin.

first off....yes, i'm a guy. But i've heard it's a similar 'feeling' with women.

The funny thing is, if you google "gabapentin orgasm" .....ALL the articles are completely opposite , and talk about how it reduces their libido.

which I found mind boggling since, I had my most ever in a 24 hour period while being on gabapentin.

so...which is it, and why do so many feel opposite? Gabapentin (at higher doses) is known to cause a euphoria state, make people more sociable ,etc.

In 2004, a report described gabapentin misuse in correctional facilities in Florida.[3] A recall of all gabapentin prescriptions at one of the larger correctional facilities revealed that only 19 of 96 prescriptions were in the possession of the intended patients. Subsequently, 5 inmates reported they were inhaling the powder from gabapentin (300 or 400 mg) capsules intranasally. All 5 inmates had psychiatric or pain diagnoses, as well as histories of cocaine abuse. Four of the 5 inmates reported obtaining an altered mental state or "high" similar to that from cocaine. Gabapentin was removed from the formulary, and prescribing was restricted to exceptional cases. There was no further evidence of abuse. Gabapentin has been removed from formulary in other correctional facilities as well.[4]

A 2007 report[5] described the case of a 67-year-old woman with mood disorders and a history of alcohol abuse who was prescribed gabapentin (as well as naproxen and amitriptyline) for pain from polyneuritis. Owing to tolerance, she was prescribed 4800 mg/day (over the maximum recommended dose), but further escalated her intake to 7200 mg daily. She requested gabapentin without a prescription from pharmacists and visited numerous physicians, exaggerating her symptoms, to obtain the desired quantities.

yes, u must take around 3000 mg's a day to notice what we notice. do it for 2 days straight...have an orgasm. and notice how LONG it lasts ! It's friggin amazing high. And the lower degree of feel-good effect can last hours for after an orgasm. these morons that made the drug generally say "we don't understand all the effects of the drug".. Well if they did, it would probably be "controller" in like a week. Hope they never friggin make this controlled. feds always wanna screw things up...and play mommy.

xtc, a little too much info there.... (hehe) but I agree the feel-good effect lasts long. I think because the way gabapentin works it "slows" things down. So instead of a quick ejaculation...the feel good is slowed and much longer duration. Something like that...mentally I seem to get slower on this, but strangely i'm more social as well. I even eye-contact better and more comfortably.

chase 56, same here with delayed ejaculation....for me I just last much longer (which my ex loved) but the wait is worth it, since the after-effect lasts much longer.

also, remember that gabapentin takes several hours to take effect initially. It takes me like 4 to 5 hours to start noticing. and it usually lasts awhile ! I gave up opiates (prescription) for this, I love it so much.

I get this if I take too much Valium. I find it very prosexual at 5-10mg but in higher doses it kinda fucks things up. Orgasms are convulsive and these drugs work as anticonvulsants, so it makes sense that they would have this effect.

A nice little fast food meal (mcdonalds , taco bell , etc) right before ....and some southern comfort ..make things hit the spot.

The only weird thing that sucks about Gabapentin is how long it takes to kick in. Sometimes 3 to 4 hours usually...but once ur in that zone...it lasts awhile. (3000 to 5000 mg a day)

Nevr tried ecstacy or molly....but this feeling must be similar. Just loving everything around ya (no-homo) ....put ur favorite music on too..don't forget.

I love gabapentin and it can make you more sociable and horny. I would take about three of the 800mg's and then take another two in a few hours and do that all day to keep the high going. Fantastic drug and should be used for detox for sure.

I'm going to write a comprehensive guide to maximizing oral BA of gabapentin. It seems like with the popularity of this drug and the prevalence of opiate withdrawal in mainstream society, people could really benefit to understanding how to unlock its full potential. I have to talk to one of the mods to make it a sticky or something. The general jist of it will be:

Basically, a 200-300 calorie meal high in fat (such as peanut butter, mayo, butter, fried foods, dairy, etc.), capsaicin and naproxen should be taken an hour before dosing.The secret is to get either a Redbull or a Monster Energy drink, preferably the latter. Take the tablets or capsules with the energy drink. The caffeine, ginseng, and taurine feels like it increases the effects by at least 50%. People with a tolerance want to dose 1,600mg first and take another 800mg every hour until reaching their desired results. However, this is actually what I do:

I take 1600mg - 3200mg (I have a relatively high tolerance ATM) and let it sit on an empty stomach. I wait about an hour and a half until I feel the slightest of a "come-up" and then eat the small, high fat meal while I take another 800mg with a monster energy drink. I'm certainly not rocked out of my mind, but I'd be lying if I said I don't conscientiously do this on a regular basis to get HIGH.

It's insane how I can feel the gabapentin becoming significantly more psychoactive as my food begins to digest. I actually learned of the way food can contribute to the effects in jail, as "med time" would be an hour or two before "chow-time" and I had a very good platform to test the results over and over. I was selling my neurontin to survive in there, as they had me on 1200mg 2x a day and 800mg at night since the med-lady only came around 3 times and my prescribed dose is 3,200mg a day.

Many of the inmates I gave the neurontin to would be very disappointed with the results and some would literally want to fight me. I would tell them to wait until after we had lunch to fight because I didn't want to hold up lunchtime for the rest of the dorm. After we ate, I had one guy literally hug me. I had to push him off of me as he had become a living personification of the classic gabapentin "trip." Extremely sociable, loopy, hungry, smiling from ear to ear and slightly cognitively impaired. Many, many addicts in both jails and rehabs swear by this stuff. They're called "johnnies" on the street and many people make a lucrative profit off of them (Note: I don't condone selling drugs of any kind, controlled substance or not. As far as selling neurontin: i dont. I simply had to survive in jail. You'd be surprised what you yourself would do if faced with some of the challenges in a maximum-security wing for 1st degree felony violent offenders. Here on the outside I love my neurontin and would never get rid of it)

Damn, I wish I had this effect, it sounds like a good time. Both gabapentin and pregabalin in recreational doses render me virtually impotent, so I wouldn't know anything about orgasms while under the influence of either.

lulz...yea, that lovey dovey feeling it gives is kinda awkward. But if my girlfriend is with me, when it's hitting me like that....it would be like an all-nighter. But it's also weird how sometimes it doesn't always give that lovey dovey feeling...it'll give something else positive in it's place. Like being happy and more sociable with everybody.

the most beautiful aspect to it, is how LONGGG it lasts. If things are done correctly....it lasts for several hours...makes you happy, horny, positive , more smart , more social with everybody.

It's such a mysterious drug, that even the creators of the drug itself...don't understand how it works. But as mentioned above, you sometimes have to hits things perfectly....to trigger that ultimate high.

It helps AMPLIFY other drugs as well...I almost feel like I can channel the drug to deliver the same type of feel good I get from other drugs. It's a fascinating, mysterious drug that takes hours to kick in initially.

Tried it with Tramadol and it was AMAZING.

tried it with Dilaudid, and it was AMAZING. Infact it seemed to increase the feel-good effect from dilaudid for several hours. (instead of the typical 15 mins)

^but for the above...remember it takes hours for Gaba to initially start...so take the other stuff about 3 hours after u take ur Gaba dose. I've only tried it with a couple drugs so far...so could only imagine how good it could be with others. xanax, etc. Be careful with your experimentation's.

I'm also sooo surprised , that so many still don't know how awesome this drug is. I doubt the silly feds will make it a controlled substance...since the dosage that's needed to 'make things work'...is at a much higher level.

another thing I noticed is you can't just slowly creep ur way up to the effective amount. you won't get the 'effect' then.

you really gotta dump it in ur stomach... 3,000MG at once. (minimum initial dose)

^High initial doses of Gabapentin are not absorbed well at all. This is why many people do the staggering method. So taking 3g all at once is a huge waste.

Personally I do not like doses above 300mg because it makes me feel really dumb so I can't even fathom taking multiple grams but I guess that's just me...

^ I completely disagree. Plus, everybody's body/system is different. Even age is a big thing....as i'm in my upper 30' currently. And notice how my body was so much more hyper-active to drugs / chemicals in my younger years. Even coffee...back in my teens...i'd just need a sip, and i'd be wired up all day. Now I need like 7 cups of coffee a day.

For absorption, I highly do NOT recommend plugging. A lot of it is a salt-like material. (i believe) So what do salts do? They immediately make u feel like taking a dump..

My friend said slamming is 'good' with this one. But only use much lower doses...till ur comfortable with the amount. The other good part is, it doesn't take hours to tick in using this route. You notice some of it kind of immediately...but still gets better hours later. It's also somewhat less lovey / dovey feeling when slammin she says.

Gaba is the best ever.... I've told my doc to cancel my dilaudid...just to have this drug. It's that good.

But now I notice it's even better when combining the 2. Very good for pain relief. It extends / enhances the high of both...and makes the world beautiful all around.

Everybody needs to know how amazing Gabapentin is. Give it at-least a few days to analyze...getting prescriptions for it are pretty simple...since it's not controlled.

lol i took gabapentin on 2 different occasions the first time i got super horny and rock hard also unable to finish but the next day i took less than 30 secs to release and well....it was quite an explosion uncomfortable actually not something i wanna exp again
the other time i took it was not the same exp lets just say if you would have looked up "limp" my junk wouldve been on there as a visual reference

guess YMMV also did nothing for my anxiety it was 150 mg dose i cut a 300mg pill in half

Ehhh... I somewhat disagree. I believe that most people that are "staggering" doses are just new to the drug and have no tolerance. With the increased time it takes to feel gabapentin hit your system and the lower doses required, they find themselves fucked up before they have to hit a high dose. I stagger LARGE doses and get WAY more fucked up than if I were to take those doses in smaller pieces, staggered, over a longer period of time.

Explain gabapentin's low absorption rate.... if I grab a monster energy drink and slam 4g of gabapentin right now, I'll be mangled within an hour and a half. No questions asked. It's the consistent result of taking 4g of gabapentin. All the time, every time.

Also, here is something that makes completely no sense in regards to the general "consensus" about gabapentin. If it's duration of action is so long, why the hell is it prescribed 4x a day? Most people say it lasts all day, doctors and science disagrees due to low oral bio-AV. I argue that science also say it has a poor absorption rate, but taking large doses CERTAINLY compensates for that.

Anybody who argues against me... I challenge you to go take 4g of gabapentin on a slightly full stomach, wait an hour and a half, and then come back and hit the reply button
