^Never watched that show but have heard the new series is very cleverly written. I like how it was a Netflix release... I really like the idea of Netflix. Some people in Australia have bent some rules to get access to it, but it will be good when they eventually launch here. I would pay the ten dollars a month to stream whatever I wanted rather than pay through the nose for Foxtel/Austar :)

Access to a 100Mbps internet connection wouldn't hurt either.

If that's what they pay in the USA for it, I bet we will have to pay like double or triple that. Our internet plans seem along way away from the plans they get in the states. Alot of the faster ones here I looked at were data capped and pretty expensive. Which sux.
 
Hopefully there will eventually be other subscription streaming tv services which would make the prices more competitive :)
 
Game of Thrones - one of the better tv shows to come out in years and doesn't have as much dodgy acting as many shows of late seem to have. The books the show is based on are really good too (yep read A Dance with Dragons)

That show had me for a while, but I lost interest, I found it fun at the start to watch some gullible fucking idiots have a relationship (sometimes for years) over facebook with people they said they 'loved' and the person wouldn't or couldn't skype and they'd just go off a profile or some pictures and phone calls, then I realised they were either really clueless people or the show was making some of it up. I mean who'd want to go on that show and show everyone how bad you got played? Then I realised I was probably just as bad for watching the shit.

Frank makes me piss myself laughing. I could never handle the come up from a double drop while chugging down a pint, especially a fucking warm pint. At least most places in UK now have cold beer and a good variety, rather than the shit that used to be served the first time I visited some 14 years ago lol... double drop I think I'd probably have a fucking heart attack these days as each pill probably has 120-150 mg MDMA that old Frank smashes with a pint of larger as a chaser. Makes me nauseated just thinking about it!

On that note I don't watch TV much if at all (except to watch Franks antics) so fucked if I know. From a psychological assessment point of view my missus was watching Big Brother. Made me sick until I decided to do mental health assessments of the contestants and fuck me they all have psychosocial issues. Not a big surprise, no one would watch it if they didn't. 2 episodes was as much as I could handle as their personality disorders began to irritate me so I left her to it.

has anyone caught ricky gervais and karl pilkington in gervais latest, derek.

its not a comedy but more real life based in a retirement home, but contains elements of comedy.

missed a couple episodes i need to catch up on.

also, upper middle class bogans and housos. housos is funny as fuck lol. and new pizza on as well.

the abc's have a good range of new programs/series of varying interests atm.
