Tell us about the last film you watched, mate!

I rewatched Star Wars over the last week and a bit. I started with the prequel trilogy & then went IV, V, VI.

Will never get old, such a good series. :D

Oh my GOD I loved this movie!! I can't recall the last time I so badly wanted to watch the entire thing again straight after the movie ended :D
The final scene could've been executed a little better in my opinion but it was still good :)
LOVED IT!!! I seriously want to watch it again right now.

^ I thought I was the only person who actually liked that movie :D. Everyone I know hated it.

I just rewatched PI. I've seen it before on the internet but I could barely see anything considering the age of my monitor and the black and white nature of the film.

Last night (or should I say this morning?) I watched Nightmare On Elm Street 3 and a lil' bit of part 4 whilst I finished off some paperwork.

"can I ask you a question?"
"certainly"
"who gives a fuck what you think?!"

I <3 it. =D

today while busy around the house i had ratatouille and bee movie playing.

i hadnt watched either film in years, and forgot how much i love them both.

Robin Hood, w Russel Crow? lol
it's alright, slow at parts.. i've yet to finished, this movie is like over 2hours long.

Finally got around to seeing Enter The Void. Whoa, that was a very uncomfortable experience for me for a number of reasons and quite a unique film. I'm glad I saw it though, particular aspects were done exceptionally well. :)

I don't know if I'll see it again in a hurry, well perhaps I'll re-watch the opening 10 minutes ;)

^ Ratatouille is GREAT. I can watch it on repeat. :)

me too! <3

thanks to our daughter (and our love for "animated" films) were able to keep up with disney/pixar/dreamworks productions.

what are your other "animated" favourites?

ps. keeping on topic, i last watched superbad at the hubbys request. third time round, still not a fan. :\

Lawn Dogs was on TV last night so gave it a watch after not seeing in in absolute years.

Shit, I just had a peek when searching for the poster. I didn't realise it was as far back as '97!. I was thinkin' like 2000 or 2001-ish. Anyway, I remember when I first saw it I wasn't that taken with it. But watching it now I can fully appreciate it's beauty. It's such a touching and beautiful story. And I guess it teaches us a lesson to never make assumptions about things we know nothing about.

We OOooollllllllllllllllllllllllld! heh heh ;)
Hello! he is as cute as ever on that cover(yes, yes superficial tomfoolery but nevertheless Sam Rockwells Nipples wield their own power)

Your synopsis sounds promising TG...Nice recomendation, look forward to seein it!

^Horrah! Buttocks! :D

Ya, he usually plays the cad/ cocky-egotistical type in movies but think he fills that niche well...

Film looks really sweet and cool actually...:)

Valhalla Rising.

I put this on when I was a little tired but honestly I would have been able to stay awake to watch the royal wedding more than I could this, and that's saying something.

The movie tried way too hard to be too much than it was. It could have been good, but it was ruined by over the top camera work, effects etc etc. I gave up on it.

Also watched The Tourist? with Depp & Jolie.
It was entertaining enough but so predictable. weak 2 stars.....

I just watched RED HILL, last night.

Best Aussie film I've seen since Beneath Hill 60.

Red Hill trailer

I honestly could not fault this film in anyway, enjoyed it immensely. What's funny is that I put off seeing this quite a few times because I thought it would be some B grade cheese flick. I couldn't have been more wrong.

Definitely recommend anyone seeing it :)

Watched The Last Exorcism (2010) tonight.

Pretty much the same as the others. Acting was good. The first half of the movie looked promising but just derailed towards the end. As for the ending, i felt it was rushed which ruined it for me. Plenty of disturbing scenes but nothing too terrifying.

3.5/5
