I liked Oz but it jumped a few sharks. Those episodes where the prisoners were taking medication to make them older were ridiculous.

Oz did get a little ridiculous towards the end. I also hated that whole "d-tabs" thing in the last two episodes.

However, I would say it still went out with a pretty strong finale, and the main characters remained interesting. The Beecher-Keller-Shillinger plot was my favorite throughout the series, and that one never wavered or had to jump the shark to be told.
 
picking 5 is really hard. I have dozens of shows favourite on my torrent site. i will avoid common ones because everyone also loves the wire and sopranos

Fastlane: McG created ultra slick UC Cop show. LA version of Miami Vice. Boner inducing.

6 Feet Under: this show is crack for tv addicts. I raced to blockbuster @ 120KM/h in a school zone to pick up a new season before the store closed... right after watching the previous season.

True. Shillinger. lulz

Ryan O'Reílly was my favourite. He didn't have a gang to back him up but he had the street smarts to hold his own. I was in awe of some the conniving shit he pulled to overcome his enemies. Plus he really looked out for his brother. Respect. %)
 
every single death in the first season was as a result of something ryan does. dude's epic.

Cool, I didn't know that. I think I started watching the show towards the end of season one. I'll have to watch season one from the start sometime.

Is it as good as Season 2?

I've never had a show grip me as much - some scene were just superb - when Jessie & his bird were using and the scene were she chokes. When he was in that crack house and Walt went in a got him. Man some intense stuff there.
