More like, you have no idea what this thread is about. Many BLers have contributed sayings to this thread that ARE on topic, and yours actually seems to be off topic. We all know drug free is in theory the way to go, but this thread is for us drug users to come in here and whine about the things we hear from non drug users, most of the time things that are extremely misinformed. Being rude is not necessary.

my girlfriend could rely on me 110% when i was a junkie. i was a morphine/dilaudid head and i care about her more than that shit.

certain stimulants, not all stimulants, and usually only after very heavy use combined with multiple days without sleep.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against drug users or drugs, but I can't help but notice the comical irony that I'm reading from these posts.



If you cared about your girlfriend, you would have never touched drugs in the very first place. You're putting her emotional well-being at risk because of a hedonistic activity. If she was an addict herself, you were reinforcing. If she was clean, you were lying to her. Either way, it's wrong. It's obvious you didn't care about the relationship. If you did, why bother using drugs when you have sex and love?

addicted mentally(present i guess) physically(past). i love the feeling..doesnt have to be drugs or love.... can be both

shes clean and has never done anything other than smoking weed and alcohol. she didnt care that i was addicted but finally i just decided to detox. i wasnt lying to her or influencing her i never brought it around her. i care about her a hell of a lot

i used because i have anxiety and panic attacks. call it an excuse. it is. but its the reason i started and keep using. call me weak for not finding something else. i am. but i loved her 100% and if she had ever said its her or the drugs i wouldve detoxed obviously. the drugs never harmed anyone except for putting me through withdrawals and wasting my own pocket money. some users are okay. i never stole for my small habit, never risked my health with overdoses or dirty(or any) needles. i had a very very private addiction and lived a normal life.

jsut dont come in here and stereotype and speculate to a lifestyle you dont know much about

I was diagnosed as bipolar. I'm in a manic state right now and it's pretty close to a high.... It's just gonna suck when I have to deal with a couple days of depression.... But thats why I have valium.

I don't want to fire anyone up here Thizzer, but....^^I think you are obviously in the wrong forum and should gain at least a shred of knowledge on the topic before insulting people.

Just know, I didn't mean anything by it. My purpose wasn't to come in here and insult you. You seem like a pretty cool guy and everything, but don't make the assumption that I don't know much about the lifestyle. I myself may not have lived the lifestyle, but I've seen enough. Not that that makes me qualified, but you get the point. Do not take anything I said personally, because it wasn't meant to come off that way.

Care to show me where I blatantly insulted anyone? I assure you I am not in the wrong forum. My point is, that some of these statements are a tad bit ridiculous. Reffering to someone as a "douchebag sober person" is no better than calling someone a "waste of life drug addict." One side isn't superior to the other, although it may seem that way at times. My point is, that a LARGE number of these comments are not annoying or unimportant, they are true. Weed CAN ruin a life, if you let it, Ecstasy WILL shut down parts of your brain (Not physically put holes in it), and using drugs in general is NOT a smart thing to do. It seems as if most of these people aren't even aware that these are all true statements. Both sides need to be open-minded. I don't see how you could possibly disagree with that. Nevertheless, as stated already, I did not come in here to blindly throw insults. If that was my purpose, I would have done a much better job. %)

I'd never try heroin or crack because I'm worried I'd get addicted


yeah...that and the fact he's never tried anything harder than weed.

I don't mean to come across as being angry with you, but the name of this thread is "ANNOYING SAYINGS FROM NON-DRUG USERS", so at the end of the day whether anyone thinks comments on here are good/bad/right/wrong, that is the topic. As an addict with mental illness, do I think using drugs is a good thing to do? No I don't, but i'm a drug user, and I think you will find that a huge majority of people that have ended up being drug users do not think it is "a smart thing to do". And as for a "douchebag sober person" or a "waste of life drug addict", remember there are also people out there who use drugs and live a successful life, just as there are sober people who don't. Anyway it is completely off the topic.
