As long as you keep buying lemon juice to lower the pH it'll be fine.

I have two ph meters that I use.. I DO check my waters ph everytime I water my plant[or add nutes/or anything to the water for that matter] (even though it's pointless due to the fact that my water comes from a R.O. system )
Good, now get that PH down where it needs to be.

Whats the definition of an 'organic grow' because Im confused.
Most of the nutrients on the market, are not organic. For example, take a look at the 6-1-1? nutes you are feeding your girls. I am willing to bet that is not 'organic'. Organic nutrients are generally a lot more expensive than regular nutrients ($$$$$).

As for ph up/down, Id rather stick to something thats natural.
If you are feeding it 6-1-1 nutes and then something else during flower, you are going to have to do a very good flush 2 weeks prior to harvest. What difference does it make if the PH is organic, when your feeding it chemicals through the nutes?

Well, I did a flush today, it is infact nute burn, unfortunatly, Ive only used the nutes twice , at about 1/3 of what it calls for indoor, and, its already burning the plants, and on the bottle it says "Wont burn plants!" lol.
Anyways, guess Im done using that, I prob really dont even need to be nuting with the small ammount of bone meal that was in there, Ill just nute during flowering..

Anyways , made one last attempt at topping , if I fail, then im just gonna grow one main cola. no biggie.

What would be a good to try to feed them after a 5-1-1?(during flower) 1-5-5 lol.

:) so fun to look at the pistils on the plant, to finally have a female, beautiful, can't wait for a few weeks when I set it into flower, it'll be awesome Im so excited , lol, I wanna flower nowww, but, Im gonna wait a while, let it get a little bit bigger. super crop and tie down a few branches from the main cola

That would work I believe, but you might want to stop all nitrogen uptake after vegetation (nitrogen does not help promote flowers-someone correct me if I am wrong).

Anyway, I use a very small amount of dry 0-50-30 during flower (it's cheap and it works!).

Awesome! I recommend to go ahead and try to root a couple cuttings off the mother now while you are waiting a few weeks before flower. If you haven't already, pick up some rockwool (it's cheap and great for beginners) to root clones with. You'll want to at least give it a try now, in case you don't end of getting any roots, you can at least try again before the mother is too mature in flower.

Happy 4th of July!

Ah yes, happy 4th of july to all.

Well, my plant in the back yard was topped properly (because I wasn't scared to fuck it up I just chopped the little f*ker)

Its doing well now, I planted it in the ground, so it will have more area to grow roots and get BIIIGGG...

Hopefully...I planted it in a partial sun/shade spot, as it is summer, and temps can get pretty damn hot.

Just hope It doesnt get attacked by bugs (but it probably will)

As for the indoor plant, tried topping again last night, we will see how it goes...if it doesnt work , well, no biggie, Ive got the one outside topped.

I also have a 0-10-10. its called MorBloom.

That should work fine for flowering. It's extra important that these are instant release, using anything that says "time release" or "works for 6 months" or anything like that, don't use it.

Okay, have a question,
Last night I was working on my space, and switched the timer to outlet instead of timer...didnt switch it back, usually goes off at 3:45, comes on at 9:45, I got home at 10, and the lights were still , thats 24 hours. Now, I turned the lights off, I was thinking I can turn them back on in 2-4 hours and just run them on the timer, the only thing about doing that is, It would be very close to being 12 hours when the lights shut off again (probably 13-14 hours), I DO NOT want the plant to flower, and want it to continue vegging, should I just turn the lights back on and let them run their cycle for another 18 hours, (which would have been a 32 hour cycle)

A quick answer would be nice, so I know what to do

I wouldnt think a 32 hour light on cycle with CFLS would be TOO stressful on the plant....

As for my nutes, I dont like what Ive been using for vegging, so I flushed and switched back to the nutes I used on the last plant which , I didnt have many problems at all with...

dude I run my lights 24/0 for veg. 18/6 is cool but not necessary. Also who is the manufacturer of the Morbloom? I have some Alaska all purpose dry (9-4-4) that I am going to use as an amendment in the future (for the record wolfgang its all organic mix of fish, shellfish, bone and blood meals). I am planning on picking up some Neptune's Harvest seaweed/fish mix that should take me all the way through harvest (2-3-1), or does for the guy who recomended it.

Whoever says organic nutes are way more expensive anyway? The Alaska all purpose was less than $9 for a 1.5lb bag that will last me probably years (also I live in a really really expensive area. Shit is retarded expensive). Neptune's is also relatively inexpensive. And finally there is blackstrap Molasses. Greatest organic secret out there.

btw I started construction on my cab yesterday, and my new genetics came in, germinated two of the freebees for test run. Cab should be done by tomorrow night.

It's from Alaska.

Not sure I like their stuff much right now as I used it two times, it promises NO nute burn, and it burned the plant really bad, quite a few fan leaves died in the process.. I flushed, and went back to the noname nutes I was using that worked well with my last plant...Hopefully both my indoor and outdoor plant do well, I think I topped my plant (indoor) correctly, but, growth seems really slow, not sure why.

The outdoor plant is topped properly and tucked away by the fence , in a fenced off area in the yard I made (only way to get in is to climb over, lol , my dogs kept getting in ) ,the fence is about 4 ft tall, so, it should hide that bud for a while, lol.

Anyways, plants still having quite a few burned tips, and edges of the leaves.

if you're using a multipurpose compost you don't need to add base fertilizers (bone meal) or any other nutes during veg. Potting up regularly like you're supposed to in veg will be sufficient.
Also, to all the people earlier in the thread measuring the pH of their compost, stop. Compost buffers itself naturally so measuring pH isn't necessary. Those analogue probe pH meters are wildly innacurate anyway.

You need some nitrogen for flowering (less but not none).

Should the run off be 6.5 or should the water be 6.5 before watering the plants?

Don't measure the run off pH. It is not an accurate measurement if the medium's pH. And you don't need to bother with measuring soil pH or the water/fertilizer solution pHanyway.

Oh and don't flower under CFLs unless you want air bud. HPS is needed or you could also flower under a MH for increased psychoactivity but lower yield.

Good advice from AE there^.

Thanks. Forums like Rollitup,Grasscity, UK420 and quite a few others will teach you everything you need to know. There is a core group of established members, some of which have genuine 'guru' status, that can teach you a lot. They shoot down misinformation as a hobby.

I used to be a member at cannabis world before it was shut down.....It was a great resource and a good place to hang out with fellow growers...

yes,...overgrow was related to cannabis world...

Sometimes I forget this is the internet....... Good luck everyone
