^^ I really love the vocals, her voice, is ghostly, and isn't forced, and floats along with the rising drum beat. And the (slightly) scattered melody. Some really nice down tempo stuff going on. It really all fits together greatly.

The backing kick drum in the break down has a really nice thud to it. It is really NICE sounding song, it has a deepness. It changes just enough to keep it from sounding repitive, and creates a nice drive though the majority of it.

I would have no idea where I would hear any music like this where i live, but I would go to a night of it.

8/10

Now to turn the tempo up a touch:

Now I love the original . Proxy - Raven. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kD7oPaUgGM Sounds sped up a touch though.

This remix by crookers adds a nice punch and swing to it.

REVIEW THIS ONE

whilst not entirely something i would spin ^ i thought this track had its merits.
nice ambient feel, and liked the use of the soft snare rush on the offbeat.
also liked the arpeggio rhythm as the breakdown.
found the track ran out of steam to be honest - didn't seem to go anywhere and was a bit slapdash with mastering and production.
still, nice track nonetheless.

how about - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTWmcHTKbx8

for future reference, please only post one song. It just makes things easier for some reason.

Calvin Harris - 7/10. Ive always loved Calvin Harris. He's a great producer
Hook 'n' Slng - 8/10.

As i was listening to the last song i was thinking "oh this guy must be aussi, who else likes hook 'n' sling" and low and behold, you're aussi :p That has nothing to do with the song but i though i'd just put that out there lol

Here's a song ive been binging on recently.
