"Troll 2" - if you don't believe me read this review:

http://mysite.verizon.net/vze4hv63/Reviews/Review - Troll 2.htm

It most definitely IS the worst movie ever, and it also happens to be a sequel ;)

Not only does the movie have no relation to the original "Troll", but it doesn't even feature any trolls. Yes, that's right - a horrror movie called "Troll 2" that has no trolls in it. It gets worse from there =D

It was shot by Italians that spoke almost no English, but in order to give it a "American" feel they shot it in Utah using mostly local people that weren't actors. Communication and script problems dogged the project from day one, it was ultimately a totaly failure - not just commercially - but it actually fails to come together as a coherant film. Half the time the film contradicts itself and changes it's mind about what is actually going on.

The main character's dead grandfather warns him early on that "I cannot intervene to help you - I an only give you advice!" or something like that. Well, gramps doesn't mention the fact that he plans to show up with a molotov cocktail from beyond the grave later in the movie, when the cocktail doesn't work he moves on to the traditional "non-interferance" tactic of shooting lightning bolts.

Oh, and the villans are vegitarian Goblins that have to turn people into trees before they can eat them. In the end they appear to be defeated by a combination of the producers running out of film and some kind of meat-based sandwich that causes them horrible pain because they are vegitarians.

Classic =D

Bring it on 2 - just watched this and it blows so bad

And I'm betting that Dirty Dancing 2: Havana Nights is going to suck the big one too.

and if we're betting on movie futures, I'd say Alien vs. Predator is going to be roundly hated.

I would have to say the first two episodes of the Star Wars series. It just doesn't capture people like the movies of the earlier years. Plus the fact that Yoda looks completely different in 1 and 2. They cant even decide what they want him to look like. Lucas, in my opinion, could have done alot better. The 3rd episode will have to be an awesome tye in to relieve the series from the rut it has dug.

whatever the sequel to the jerk was called is way up there.

oh, it's called the jerk too. and it was a tv movie. i wish i didn't remember it. it stars such luminaries as ray walston and jimmie walker.

Any Amityville Horror movie after part 2 is a complete waste of time IMO.

Any Phantasm movie after part 2

Speed 2 (someone mentioned it earlier)

Halloween 4 & 5

New Nightmare A.K.A Nightmare on Elm Street part 7

Army of Darkness a.ka. Evil Dead III

Friday 2: Next Friday

Without Chris Tucker, the "Friday" sequels aren't as funny anymore...

Poison Ivy 2-Lilly. The first one was hot and so was the second one but the plot line sucked in the 2nd movie. Lilly (Alyssa Milano) tries a little to hard to emulate Ivy (Drew Barrymore) If I were a guy I think I would have gotten blue balls. So I guess I got blue lips?

that's a really interesting choice - care to expand on your reasons?

Stardust. It was a tedious sequel to a great 70's rock n roll movie (set in the 50s/60s) called That'll Be The Day.

I thought Army of Darkness III was great, although different from the other two. It was more of a comedy, but still a good movie.

All of the Batman movies after the first one....Keaton was the best Batman

I agree with that, but he was in the second movie Batman Returns, which wasn't that bad

I agree with you there, and I think that is why it was a TERRIBLE sequel.
I personally think that Sam Raimi degraded his work from the "horror" genre after he made this film. Evil Dead 1 was the best one out of all 3 IMO.

But, with Army of Darkness......I say WHY RAIMI WHY?!!??!?!?
It was like one of those films where you would think that Leslie Neilson would pop up somewhere with his usual slapstick style of nonsense.

I also noticed that the violence was toned down majorly in this film compared to the other Evil Dead films. So I'm guessing that Sam was focusing more on the "Disney" audience to view this film without cringing at the site of blood.

As a Horror/Sci-Fi purist such as myself, I really don't think Army of Darkness should be anywhere near the horror section in video stores.
