The band everyone loves but you hate..

Led Zeppelin and any hair metal band in general, especially Guns n Roses. Actually I hate rock in general unless it s punk rock

We had all night, after hour clubs till Mayor Glenda Hood fucked that shit up

Also youre not supposed to say that out loud. Deee-lite confessions are for the music guilty pleasures thread. What do I look like priest? You're just gonna have to sprinkle your house with holy water, say 7 hail Mary's and hope this Ungodly possession leaves you. We all battle our inner Deee-lites.

Dewdrops in the Garden is one of the best albums to bang a chick to

I wouldn't know I was in my room with blue hair smoking shitty pot out of an apple. Then I got pubic hair and the world of Deee-lites opened up to me. Still waiting on chest hair. I got this one hair that grows off the top of my ear if that counts.

not much to like... repetetive
So is injecting cocaine for 8hrs straight but that never stopped me.

U2 is the cocaine of music, expensive, over hyped, pretentious, dooshy, full of fluff and you always regret it the next morning

.... But what about "Kiss me, thrill me, kill me" guys.... Huh? Huh? Batman ??...

Coarse it's the shitty Batman. I don't remember any of them except the one with Jack Nicholson, which was good but they should have gotten Rick Moranis to play Batman.

So this is the thread where people insult each other LOL.

I use to think rap was garbage, I took the Ray Charles opinion. But I have since learned it too is an art form so now that leaves nothing that I do not like. (not sure how that double negative works)

I am like Krink, take a band like Rush. In the early 80's people in my high school loved them. I too know that Neil Peart is a talented drummer. But I can admit I myself have not learned how to groove to them. There are some crap bands. Rush is not one of them. So I know where talent is.
(as an aside My wife is from Ontario and went to a high school dance in the early 80's where Rush played. She laughed and said they did not do one dance tune. Totally out of place. Here is where I think Rush should have learned a Chuck Berry tune or something to fill in the blanks.)

There is not one band here that I could not find something good with. Ok maybe the Bay City Rollers. One hit wonder productions irritate me. People that give it a good God damn try and keep doing that I like. That includes most Rock bands, Jazz, Acoustic Music, Bluegrass.... They all have their heavy hitters whether I know how to groove to it or not.

Sounds around about 72'

i expected some people to not like this part of the 90's:

gin blossoms
counting crows
goo goo dolls
spin doctors

i'm personally into all of them, but i can see how people can't get into that stuff. surprised nobody mentioned these. anybody dislike them? somebody out there's gotta be against this 90's post grunge emo-ish radio rock. lol

i imagine bush to be too depressing for some. i'm into bush too. lol.

Yes those are all horrific to say the least

Yeah I will ask the correct time period. That sounds more accurate as by the 80's we were already hearing every metal band having special guest RUSH. I remember the commercials.
They were headlining in 81'
with Moving Pictures
filling upwards of 40'000 seats by the end of the tour

I may be thinking of Riot/Rush in 81. But you are correct. They did start headlining in 1981. Check out that Allman Brothers Band/Rush show on 12/18/1981.

I can understand not liking a few bands but there comes a point when something is truly garbage. This is filth and shit:
