There are some good new music, art, movies and such being made but they usually never hit the mainstream.
So you have to spend hours on sites like soundcloud listening and listening and then those artists that you find can't survive and have to struggle and can't continue to make good music because they usually (if they get signed, just get signed to some label thats a front for some hedonistic music lovers that do it all for the love of music not money).

I usually hate a lot of the new music and films, but I liked XXX-Tentación for instance for some reason he felt very flawed but real, and then he got sacrificed, uhm, sorry Im mean he died in a robbery...

Yes Point Break was not such a bad film. Good fast moving scenery and acting, but good acting, personalities allowed, and not a high octane one either all about thrills and spills.

Twists and turns. Good filmimg. Still on the shallow and vain side, but worth a watch I'd say.

It's already been said but has to be Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

I have literally watched this movie well over 30 times in its entirety

The first time I did psychedelics at 14 years old I watched this movie. (Well I guess first time was 12 years old, but whatever)

Now, for some reason, almost every single time I drop acid or do psychedelics I turn this movie on while I come up. I don't really know why, it just REALLY gets me in the mood to trip. Puts me in a good mood. In fact, I've watched it so many times while tripping I have noticed myself starting to take on the mannerisms of H.S.T. while high. Weird.

Also just a great drug movie with good acting. I've always fantasized about going on a trip like them, with a suitcase full of drugs and a good friend just to see how much trouble we could get in.

Unfortunately, while I believe some of the story is rooted in reality, most of what they did would have you in handcuffs really quick. Can't get away with stuff these days like they did back then.

on a 2nd note I recently watched the movie Enter the Void while on acid. It was a really innovative movie that set out to establish something that had never been done before (with or without drugs), making a movie about what it's like to die.

If you haven't seen Enter the Void I suggest you watch it. It's really all about DMT, death and some philosophy about the moment of your death. Really interesting movie.

I didn't particularly like the ending, but it also made sense and it was the ending I was expecting. It just felt......... awkward in a sense (but I also think that was the intended feeling it was supposed to give). Anyways also a really great movie. Make sure to watch in HD the visuals are quite nice and trippy.

Drugstore Cowboy was great, I'll have to read the book. My best druggy movie though has to be Salton Sea which has some great tweeker scenes, and one one my all time favorite movie quotes "We're out of Gak!".

I loved The Salton Sea. And yes, read Drugstore Cowboy. Its better than the movie and the movie was great, so that tells you how awesome the book is.

Naar de Klote! (Wasted 1996)

This is a kind of underestimated underdog European indie-movie I can recommend. Most of you "new-school" people probably never seen or heard about this one. It's a very realistic portrait of that whole rave scene during this time and a funny movie with some action and a lot of partying. It's a techno/gabber/drug fueled party movie, but quite neutral on the topic of drugs, not a conventional cautionary tale but not super romanticizing either, I think the director was going for a slightly futuristic dystopian vibe, but completely failed, and the "loved-up" 90ties vibe shines right through!

So if you kids wanna take a history lesson and learn how it was to party and be a part of the techno/gabber scene in Europe in the mid 90ties (before instagram, facebook, smartphone party-pooping, ugh, sketchy-bathsalts, etc).

As I remember there was more FREEDOM innocent FUN and the VIBE was GREAT! NO CORONA!
(and there was also some guilty pleasures and confrontation with various sketchy authorities) .

I remember I saw this documentary about a father who did a bunch of "X" with his kids went to rave parties etc.
I think I found the link here on Bluelight it was a strange but entertaining documentary that left me feeling a bit uncomfortable. Lets see if I can find it. Oh here it is, fairly neutral documentary good for harm reduction purposes.

Yeah I agree with @mokele, and yes I did not vote for 5G, I don't need it I don't want it. Is 5G dangerous? Who knows? It's probably not healthy, radiation usually isn't. Anyway slightly off-topic.
