is there really such thing as ecstasy that only flashes purple when you marquis reagent test it?(feeling anxious after taking certain presses)

I know it theory, ecstasy (presses) are never fully pure. I bought a few light orange teslas through someone I trust, estimating 100 something mg and I never really thought this through clearly enough. I'm a bit paranoid because back when I first tested them I'm pretty sure it quickly flashed some sort of orange color once I dropped it in before it changed purple. I'm not sure if that was just the pill powder mixed with the liquid the first 2nd I dropped it in. I just know im feeling a bit anxious a few days later after I rolled on this dose. What are we really supposed to see when we test these drugs in liquid? I was having paranoia that there must be amphetamine in these pills or something. I always tell myself that nothing is fully pure but I'm good as long as it's nothing "really really bad" Can anyone offer me insight? I know this will pass. I've taken these pills before and I got through it. I just want to be smarter about this.

According to this the suspicion is meth or amphetamine if I remember right but I was leaning more towards the guess of amphetamine back at the time. This is a bit concerning to me. I went off of medication for anxiety back in September and that's when I started using mdma. I took some stuff from another source to roll last april and felt ok afterwards but after this roll I am having some regrets. But when I tested these teslas I almost definitely remember maybe some flash of a peach or light color.
 
There’s always going to be a cut of something. I’d advise to tread carefully if you intend to use again. Use your tests and if you notice that reaction then just don’t take them.
 
I think probably meth or amphetamine. I have seen a result like that before with a pill.
 
Also, you will be fine. I would not take those pills again, since you know they aggravate your anxiety, but a small amount of oral amphetamine is not likely to do serious harm long term. Magnesium may help with your come-down, it is very calming.

I personally use Doctor's Best brand, High Absorption Magnesium Glycinate Lysinate.

appreciate it. since there is always a cut of something is it typical for it to flash a different color before it turns purple? dancesafe.org says it should go directly to purple and that would certainly be more assuring that it's quality, unless that is more common in molly. A lot of people say they prefer ecstasy and I'm wondering why that is. I do feel that different presses will give me different highs and molly kinda has it's own high. idk if this is in my head or if that's due to what's in it.
 
No, it should not flash to a different color before it is purple/black. Also, a good pill will not have cuts of anything in it, it will just be MDMA.

There are a lot of theories about why some batches of MDMA/Pills seem to produce different effects than others (we have been talking that to death in another 232 page thread).

But, bottom line, ecstasy and molly should be the same thing. They should both be MDMA. If they contain something other than MDMA, then they are contaminated and not worth taking.

Look for product that turns purple/black without other colors. Some reports of older MDMA implies it may be a bluer shade of purple, but still ultimately black. If you are seeing orange, yellow, green, brown etc. then you should not take it. Something unknown is in it.

Also, break those big pills in half. Some of them have massive doses of MDMA that may be unsafe if you take the whole pill.

A quick flash of orange or orangish-red on a marquis test before turning purple or dark blue usually indicates a amphetamine/methamphetamine cut with MDMA.

I gotcha. So is the theory that molly is supposed to be more pure than ecstacy even still relevant?
 
@tazz20 There is a lot that is unknown.

A pill has to contain binders. Ideally, those binders are inert and simply hold the pill together. But, a 350 mg pill may contain 150 mg MDMA and 200 mg of inactive binders.

Crystal or powder MDMA ideally should just be MDMA, but that has not been my experience. It seems that there are still sometimes contaminants in the crystal.

Unfortunately, you cannot trust either one. I would order a full testing kit set (not just marquis) and test everything. Ideally, send to a lab before you eat it, but if you can't do that at least test it yourself.
 
It's been almost a week now and I'm still having this anxiety so I'm paranoid😔 I hope I get out of this, I have before

Is there a certain brand you use? Would this have any interactions with things like 5htp, cbd or egcg?

They are just vitamins. Should not have any negative interaction with other supplements. You may want to stop taking 5HTP if you are having issues with anxiety. See if that has an impact on how you feel.
