Er, thanks for yer answers fellers, but what I'm asking is when to start on the 'bloom' nutrients - do I wait until flowering begins, or start using it as soon as I drop the daylength?

Hash in your Area

What is the hash in your area like ? if ya even got has doing the rounds anymore, am just 25 and I remember getting a bit of ''bush'' as we called it was rarity and something as teenagers we got genuinely excited as young tokers, we also used to get thai stick, but for the most part we had no choice, or did we know any better than to smoke soap bar hash, at the time not known any better we smoked away, picking bits of plastic out of it, even then we were wise to what was worse and better, and then boom the green explosion which has been great, but far to expensive some of the prices are insane, though that is another thread.


I like my hashes, obviously we know the rare hashes we try and get, but I mean the standard hash locally, round here we've got ''pollen'' not for one minute do I think it is proper pollen, but it is certainly alot of it is still shitty slate people try pass of as standard ''pollen'' some of slate is as bad as the old soap, well nearly!! Then your getting the stuff that completely fluffs with the lick of the flame, that is the good ''pollen'' is well worth the money, 25- 35 quid for 7g of it is tidy, dont get it twisted I love me erbz but the price for what you get isn't enough or acceptable so it is a good alternative, g of nasty, q of the good pollen, and a box of 28 diazepam my ideal of heaven on earth, well long as you chuck in one of them sloppy bj from the missus I get if I have been a good lad, defo not been just now.

Are most you getting slate/pollen , and are any yous able to access soap bar? I was told it wasn't being produced no more, thank gawd!
 
Haha soap bar, man it's all I've had here, hash-wise :( Remember finding a big ol' bit of plastic bag in an oz once. Good times. Not seen any more than that here in Hull or where I lived before from any actual dealers but a few times from mates and that's since I started smoking nearly fifteen years ago. Probably you can get it but every dealer I've had here has dealt purely in weed with soapbar as an occasional thing. Would absolutely fucking love to see some decent stuff again and honestly I don't mind soapbar for edibles but yeah, nice hash please <3 Had a mate who used to press his own while he was growing/selling with a wee smiley face printed into the disc of hash, would not mind that again.
 
Ask Owain. That dude's a bit of a connoisseur and always seems to get hold of the good stuff. I've not seen any hash since last time I was in Amsterdam :(
 
THC in any form isn't my cup of tea at all anymore but I do know that hash has made quite a comeback of late, all high quality stuff though at similar prices and sometimes more than weed... I know quite a few people who have switched to it as they were paying through the nose for weed that wasn't grown very well, trimmed shoddily and not dried or cured properly...
 
I don't understand why weed prices have risen so much, seeing as tonnes of the stuff is grown here. Probably due to the bix six energy firms and their extortionate electricity rates =D Saying that though meters tend to be bypassed anyhoo.

Someone's making fortunes anyway and 90% of it is shoddy product... If I still smoked I would definitely grow my own and mainly for the enjoyment of the actual grow..

I know, I don't understand it. surely the market is well flooded. I was talking to my mate the other day who is trying to grow and he was on about the cost of all the feeds. I tried to say wouldn't you be best looking at what's in them and getting them from a garden centre coz they hike the price up coz of what it is. I mena there's a ridiculous no. of grow shops around as well. Can they all be making money?

Can't get nice hash but can get nice compressed yardie weed, may be thai weed but it's nice anyway. I smoke less of a nice mellow weed than a fat strong skunk, which doesn't make sense. also smelly skunk makes me so body heavy and stiff the next day. I want ot get some tomorrow but the thought of going further than my front door the way I feel is quite horrific. Nite all.
 
Decent quality hash is definitely making a comeback in the UK, haven't seen a piece of soapbar in years and years now. There's lots of flatpress/slate/polm/maroc/whatever you want to call it ranging from ok but not great to really quite nice around here at £20-£25 an eighth, it's generally pretty nice and I usually have some around to smoke as well as buds. Generally anything that has any quality to it will go sticky if you put a flame to it so I either put it through a grinder if it's quite hard and brittle or just pick pieces off if it's softer and stickier, some are really lightly pressed and can almost be crushed to a kif like substance between the fingers really easily. Here's a selection of photos of some stuff that I have bought in the Bristol area in the last year or so.

The first one is what I'm smoking atm, battered looking piece but it's actually of a very nice quality.

Supply and demand, simple. We produce a lot here but consume even more, more people smoke weed here than in The Netherlands.

A lot of what is grown here is distributed small scale as well, generally anything of a higher quality is. There might only be one person selling the entire output of a farm so there isn't necessarily the bulk production economies of scale and when this is the case people are likely to want to make a higher mark up on whatever they produce. Also, there's an element of people charging that because they can. If you're producing top quality bud on a small scale people will bite your hand off to buy it for £150/oz and quite happily pay £200/oz for singles so why sell it for less.

I don't have a high demanding job or any shit like that but I'd rather at this age wait till I've got my shit done until getting mashed. A nice hash is good for that.

Gotta love the DW. The drug scene would be fucked without it. Even if your personally don't partake. Other local vendors certainly are.

There's generally small bits of stuff that people have personally imported from dam floating about as well but not for sale. Never much just a few eighths here and there:

Nah not at all, which is why it's quite attractive to send it over. Get it a few miles across the Irish sea and the price can almost double.

A few ounces in the post, well wrapped, is the norm. There's also not the greatest amount of checking domestic vehicles at the ferry ports.

When I grew, I didn't want any of my mates to know so I told them I was getting it sent over by a guy from the Isle of Wight. They were all excited for their English funk haha.
 
Got a nice amount of zero zero coming in the post, mix of landrace Morracan and pakistani/Afghan strains.
