state of the NBA imo

Kia sponsors the Clippers more or less (blake griffin but w/e), who finally oust racist owner and forced Chris Paul to play for them because NBA owned the Hornets and vetoed the real trade

Dan Gilbert cries for 3 years after Lebron leaves and the Cavaliers get compensated with a bunch of #1 picks and still fails at life, only to have Lebron come back after partying in Miami for 4 years because he wants to appear like the man for bringing a championship back to Cleveland and already makes millions from Samsung, McDonalds, Nike, etc,etc

yet the 76ers are abusing the system by tanking? wtf, Dan Gilbert tanks whether he tries to or not, such a joke. Just ask Anthony Bennet

Clippers / Cavs finals, calling it now.

I really dont give a fuck who wins, the NBA is a joke.

Look at what happened to the Pacers. try to BUILD a team and it falls to pieces.

you have to BUY a team

or CRY about losing your teamw

and next year, the PHILADELPHIA 76ers are PLAYOFFS

they will erase this trend within 5 years. Twin Towers playoffs 2016, the 15 year annvsyt of the real twin towers. Kevin Durant to the 76ers. enter the Croatian sensation

too many things could go right for the Sixers to not become contenders

the hijackers learned english when they were 15 years old iirc. its all coming together. only a matter of time.

Ok so the Spurs... the most dominant team in basketball for the past 15 years was all drafted by the Spurs ... They didn't buy any of their players, and they manage to convince players to take way less money than other teams would offer them.

Dwayne Wade, Lebron, and Bosh all made about 18-20 mil last year each

That is how much Parker, Duncan, and Ginobli made COMBINED last year.

also.. the Clippers in the Finals next season???
lmao that's easily the dumbest thing I've heard all year.

San Antonio > Cleveland > OKC > Rest of the NBA

Teams on the rise: Denver, Orlando, Milwaukee, Atlanta

Miami will probably still make the playoffs too

and the Pacers didn't fall to pieces. Paul George broke his leg

You don't plan for one of the best players in the league to break his leg in the offseason.

Pacers management is horrible I'll give you that. Whoever decided it was a good idea to get rid of Augustin,
Green, and Plumlee should be fired. And they were really stupid to signing Hibbert for 18mil a year

Lol Hibbert is pure garbage, and now that he's getting paid he's gonna be even worse.

oh and letting lance Stephenson go to top it all off

Ive already forgot about the Spurs. just a footnote in NBA history. lamest championship presentation of all time

of course there's exceptions to the rule, but for all intents and purposes

buy / cry

sixers are crying real hard towards that goal.

Pelicans make the playoffs this year

dont have time to get into more predictions but I distinctly remember you not even mentioning tony parker in your top pgs and now youre all on the spurs dick

frontrunnin faygo

Shim-oh Shim. Celtics looked perty good- one game but I think they are being under estimated.
OH YEAH!

Kevin Durant fractured bone in his foot. Going to miss 15-20 games

god fucking damnit I knew I shouldn't have waited to put money down on Carmelo winning MVP.. the odds have been at 15/1 for the past month

Then today I found out Durant is going to be out I fucking rushed to put down money... and of course they have the MVP betting down right now.. Probably adjusting odds

Fuck fuck fuck fucking fuck

lol carmelo is not winning mvp. knicks have no shot this year

lol carmelo is not winning mvp. knicks have no shot this year

In case you didn't realize, MVP isn't based on how successful you are with your team. It's all about regular season stats

Everyone knows Lebron is way better than Durant. He just happens to take way more shots than anyone else and put up ridiculous numbers

Honestly Lebron should win MVP every single year until he retires, that's not even really up for debate.

But yeah I can almost guarantee Carmelo is going to win MVP this year.. think about it... he's the ONLY superstar on the Knicks. And with the addition of Jose Calderon he's going to get way more open looks. Phil Jackson taking over importing the triangle is going to be deadly

My prediction on Carmelo's stats next year:

29ppg
8 rpg
4 apg
1 block per game
1 steal per game

MVP

Anthony Davis is going to be close behind.. and last time the betting was open he was at 25/1 odds to win MVP

The people who had better odds to win MVP than Carmelo were

Lebron
Kd
Derrick Rose (lmao)
Kevin Love
Chris Paul
Blake Griffin

I can guarantee you that not one of those players has a chance to win MVP except maybe Lebron

All of them have multiple superstars on their team which is going to take away from their stats... I'm telling you this year is perfectly set up for Carmelo to win MVP. And it's going to happen

The only way Lebron wins it is if the CAVS win at least 60 games and he has to average at least

26 ppg
8 reb
6 ast

I don't see that happening

...

Oh and I guarantee the Knicks will make the playoffs year. Just watch.. Jose Calderon and Samuel Dalembert are going to become the biggest offseason moves this year.. Calderon is an extremely underrated PG.. this dude is an elite passer

and Dalembert absolutely KILLED the spurs last year whenever they played... they had no answer for him... Watch him become a rebounding machine this year

And why the fuck aren't the New Orleans Pelicans in the eastern conference?? Wtf they are never going to make the playoffs in the west

They have a pretty sick lineup too

Pg: Jrue Holiday
Sg: Eric Gordon
Sf: Tyreke Evans
Pf: Anthony Davis
C: Omer Asik

Asik is definitely a top 15 center.. I've seen him completely dominate games before.. New Orleans has some serious potential.. the only thing holding them back is playing in the western conference.

dude I said they would make the playoffs this year, its definitely out there

better than any of the teams you listed as on the rise

Yeah dude maybe you should actually read my post before responding

That's exactly my point... yet they play in the western conference

and the nba isn't rigged, you're an idiot if you think any of the 4 major us sports are rigged

If the Grizzlies don't give the Thunder a fit tonight- they may have a shot without Durante.
The one wild card is The Bulls and I'd be glad for them to win the playoffs.
The Knicks sadly have no good shot even with Phil Jackson's zen. Sadly I think the last game vs the Celts was a loss- but they had just played a very tiring week.

Just like PSU won so many games in the 90's cuz Joepa picked the easiest schedule but people still thought they were great. At least they had Kerry Collins

Finally it's here

NBA season starts tonight. holy fuck I can't wait for Halloween

Cavaliers vs Bulls... going to be an awesome game

Forget Jabari Parker and Andrew Wiggins

Elfrid Payton is going to show everyone tonight that he will be ROTY. I can't wait to see how he does in his first game

Not many PG's get the opportunity to start the first game of their career. Definitely the most skilled position in the NBA right now.. almost every single team has a really good starting point guard. The worst in the league might be Jermy Lin, and even he isn't so bad

holy shit. not only is Paul George out, but George Hill, David West, and CJ Watson are all out for the season opener too. Roy Hibbert will be the only starter from last year in the game. And CJ Watson their backup PG was their best bench player from last season.

guess we'll finally get to see what Solomon Hill can do. he's more of a defender tho
