Bupe *New Suboxone film * official thread*

This didn't happen to me personally but someone who I have known since I was a kid. He was pulled over in a nicer suburb and the police there have more expensive tools, especially now that Gov. Kasich is really cracking down on prescription abuse. On the back of the package that contains the film there is a barcode-like thing that can be scanned. I think it's called a QR Scanner (not sure) and they even make apps that will scan them.

I guess I worded it a little weird. He didn't see the cop scan it but after claiming that he had done nothing wrong, the cop went back to his own vehicle and then the cop came back and told him that he was able to scan the film packet in his vehicle and figure out who the original script belonged to by contacting the pharmacy and verifying the information from it.

It didn't happen to me so I don't know every single little detail but either way, they can find whatever the information the pharmacy has about the scriptholder.

Do you mean QR Code?

If someone let's a kid get to one and they get hurt for example u can trace the code on the pack to find who it was scripted to... I've known only one time where somone had a bunch back when the films first came out that I knew. Someone died mixing suboxone w/ something being opiate niave . The police found the wrapper for one, did some back tracking and busted both the scripted person who sold/traded their suboxone and the dealer who had a bunch who happened to be unaware of the death. Stupid... the person who really deserved jailtime was who ever told the poor dead person to mix all the drugs they took, especially the suboxone.

Off topic: these films seem to irritate my mouth a bit. O how I wish my ignorant dr would give me subutex . Even my pharm thinks the naloxone keeps people from getting high. Gotta love how suboxone makes people think they work different. I even told them ive IV'd suboxone, still refuse to accept subutex is the same for its intended purpose and a lot cheaper. Not to mention it didnt tear my mouth up like the films do it seems.
Just nice that u can cut the film for easier measuring.

Benzo's and IV Suboxone and I was over-riding 3 x Naltrexone implants, mogadon, vals, rivvies, xanax did the trick, not all at once obviously, couple maybe (be more conservative with the xanax obviously) 5 or 10 mins before IV administration, gets you high but its not that great more of a hospital high than a day in the park high. Freaking dangerous too tho, you OD proper on subs, they gunna have trouble bringing you back from the light and benzos if you get it wrong is how you OD on subs. Thing with maintenance therapy is that its meant to maintain the addiction and rob you of the euphoria, you wanna get high again, get your dose lowered.

Yeah my idiot pharmacist was like " geuss what they give people who OD " "the same thing, naloxone". When I was in the argument with her about the naloxone/subs thing. I was like yeah and geuss what bupe has a higher binding affinity. Then she tried saying subutex gets u high but not suboxone. I stood there and embarrassed her as she got snotty with me. Get your shit straight dumb lady. Ugh...

You don't get high lowering your dose exactly. (edit: u can get some "high" out of it)--> Once stable at a low amount each dose can be a bit euphoric. I'm 1mg morning. .5 night. I get pinned eyes for a couple hours after it hits me when I take mine. No need for iv either. Doesn't do much but harm... best to avoid that :)

I've always had the strips since I've been prescribed them...Honestly I don't know why anyone would really want the pills over these...they disovlve waay faster in your mouth, if you snort you can just dissolve the desired amount in a small amount of water and snort that, and if you shoot them, seems like they would be way better than the pills considering it seems like they have WAY less filler in them. And plus, remember Lorne saying if you let them disslove in small amount of water and hold that under your tounge the Bioavailbilty is just the same as snorting if I read that right. Anyway, stips all the way, just wish these bitches were cheaper!

go to the Suboxone website and you can print a coupon out once every month, and it saves you tons. I only had to pay 10$ for 45 of the 8mg strips!

EDIT: sorry for adding in prices mods, its for the good of everyone though, seriously!

Well usually my strips are REALLY cheap because of insurance and a card I get from my doctor when they have them(not gonna say the price but it's not in the tripple digits=). Well I have a question, posted on another website but maybe someone can help me. My insurance usually covers them, and I went to pick up my Pre-dated script and they said the insurance wasn't covering now,or needed another pre-approval. They are suppose to cover it for 2 years, and did a pre-approval at the begining of the year, and want another one 5 months later?! Anyway, I went ahead and got close to twenty without the insurance(yowsers!). But my question is, the other 40 something I have at the pharmacy they will hold until I can get them right? On the box it said may refill X amount of times until November, just didn't know if there was a speacial rule becaue it is Suboxone??? Or I can refill until November, however many I can afford until then is my question if my insurance will no longer cover it....

EDIT: I agree with you Pill Head, I can see why they do not want us posting prices of drugs we score on the street...but I see no problem with people discussing how much they pay with/without there insurance for ther PRESCRIBED MEDS.

In some cases if you get a partial amount of a script you forfeit the remainder of the script. I would think that will definitely be the case if you paid in cash. When I went to get my script filled once they didn't have the full amount abd told me that they couldn't give me the partial amount because theycab only do hat of they know they could fill the rest within 48hours of the first amount and they didn't know for sure if they could so they didn't fill any.

And as for approval, I had gotten some in September and was told I would need approval again in December so I guess it depends on the insurance. I know it's usually at least once every 6 months.

just sniffed 4mg of my rx, it's been in my nose for about 15 min and still has a slight slight SLIGHT burn. I put 4 mg cut up into the top of a toothpaste cap, mixed it with about 30 units of water and tilted my head back let it fall into my nose with a little sniff. Will post again in 20 min see how I feel but I think I already feel a boost. Waiting for a little euphoria.

SWIM has been injecting suboxone for years.. recently, SWIM caught cotton fever two days in a row, the second being pretty awful. It's been a couple days since the last incident with no troubles after injection but there is a lingering pain in SWIM's lower abdomen that comes in waves.. the feeling being similar to being really hungry.

Does anyone out there have an explanation for this.. or should I just go see a Dr.?

Subs

So I have 50 subs available at the pharm for me but I stopped seeing my doc due to being broke and cant get a new script.. Do these need a specific prescription or could I request these instead of the pill form I get now w/o calling my doc?
I usually had no problem the pharmacist usauakjy asked me guess it's where u live nd the pharmacy u use

I take it you weren't using micron filters? It's essential that you do this in order to avoid getting infections. How are you preparing the shots?

Iv been on sub for 8 yrs but since the birth of my 3rd child I have been getting the subutex and they have big ones n small ones. I was psyched at 1st w big ones thinking bigger is better but nOOO! Not the case!! Anyways I'm lucky enuf to not have been switched back to strips! Hate them! These small white beautys are where it's at! But anyone know why the big ones suck n what the diff is? Also will the small ones become obsolete cuz hard to find everyone has big ones now. But the one pharm in my hometown still has small. Why my Dr hasn't made me switch back to strip is a wonder too. Maybe cuz I'm long term? Are theybetter for u longterm than nasty strips??

Yeah I had a pharmacist argue w me tht boxone and buprenorephrine was exactly the same& tht both were orange!!! Lol

One quick question too cuz I'm new but how to I comment under peoples comment? Like not on the thread but specific comment?

Nope. Haven't even seen one in the 5+yrs of intravenous use (heroin, pills, subs). This is the first complication.

Technique is basic: wash or sanitize hands, water in spoon then boil, sub in spoon, wait to melt, stir, cigarette filter (non-menthol), clean injection site.. wam, bam, thank you, ma'am, pressure at site.

I used to get sick no matter what I did when injecting these-subutex, strips, whatever. I decided finally it was either my body rejecting something or precipitated withdrawals. I researched and researched. I am not convinced it was bacteremia as my technique was perfect and I used microns. I think some people cannot tolerate injecting these. It seemed to happen when I did it too often. Once in a blue moon I could get away with it. I know it isn't a great answer, but that is my experience. As an aside, when they first gave me the strips, I broke out in hives all over my legs for a few days. That soon subsided, but there was no other cause I could identify. I just don't think these are wise to inject, I soon got sick of this happening. It doesn't take long to learn it is Russian Roulette and whatever is happening isn't good and isn't going to stop. At least for me that was the case. I even pre medicated with benedryl and ibuprofen.

Any insight helps. I've caught the fever a couple times from dope but this is the first time with sub.. and two days in a row? Sheesh. I have also done research and came up with fuck all.. Only symptoms relating to abdominal pain were that which occur during the fever; nothing about prolonged anything.
