I just like cars in general. I have had American and Japanese cars. I'm not usually a Mustang guy but, I was just reading in Popular Mechanics about the 2012 Boss 302. About 40k USD will get you this lovely naturally aspirated 444 hp, fully adjustable beast with Ricaro seats and the whole nine.

Like I said I don't usually like Mustangs because everyone has em but, this thing is dead sexy

0-60 in low 4s and redlines at 7500.

you just described my 25k WRX...
..that is also a loud annoying little 4cylinder.
Don't get me wrong, I love subarus I've had a few myself and the WRX is an awesome car. Also I personally hate fords a lot, but come onnnn... you can't compare a RWD American V8 beast to a 4 cylinder little japanese car. Totally different driving experience/ feel/ look/ type of power/ shaky-light-tiny little foreign automobile

yeah I definitely agree. That is a hell of a car, too, and will totally ass rape a soobaru on the track, but for my dd? give me 0-60 in 4 seconds AND a roof rack.

Yeah I hear you. I'd take that, that's what I loved about my subes. No roof rack, but they were totally decent for a driver, better than some cavalier or something shitty.

you're right.

I'd rather have my RWD Mazda RX-8 over anything made in the US. :p :D

Rotary engine huh? How's the maintenance on that Felix? I worked with a guy that had one and I got to drive it. Loved the car overall in both interior and driving experience but, I tend to gravitate towards things that I can mostly fix myself. Really slick car though. Handles like it's on rails. For a number of years Mazda and Ford were very much involved with the exception being the RX-8

Yeah, a former roommate of mine had an RX7, those rotary engines certainly crank the power out. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing Japanese cars either. Lord knows I've had plenty, and I'm definitely not trying to come off as all American, I've got an old Datsun 280ZX myself ;) I was simply saying that a boss 302 Mustang and a Subaru WRX are apples and oranges...

Yeah, Jaguar and Mercedes and BMW and Ferrari and Lamborghini and Aston Martin and Rolls Royce and Bentley are famous for making shit cars ;)

More like bmw, peugot, fiat, vw, and audi. Those cars wouldn't last me a month.

Speaking of cars.. The worlds most expensive car accident with 8 ferraris, one Lambo Diablo, a GT-R and 3 Mercs. Linky

I saw that on the news yesterday...unbelievable...

That shit was crazy. I was not surprised that it was in Japan. That shit could only happen there, or 30 years ago on the Riviera.

Speaking of cars... how drunk do you have to be drunk driving there?

I always thought Japanese law was stricter on average. Especially driving laws but, I could be wrong.

Yeah but there are few places where all those cars would be found together.

Dubai would definitely be a place to find all those cars every day. Most of the car wrecks ive seen with supercars like that are from the middle east.

I would not put vw or audi and reliable in the same sentence. It is a different world there -to they aren't cars for the american market. What do you guys put on you cars in a year? Maybe 5000 miles? People here thrash their cars and drive alot. Don't see many bmw's with 200k+ miles.

I'll second that. I work at a company that sells foreign car parts, specializing in Euro car parts, and I would not say reliable at all. BMWs are great comfortable cars that are awesome to drive, but they tend to break a lot.
