i took two doses of opioid and kindled for two weeks. that definition is TRUTH !
Hi Ash. It’s nice to hear from you again.Hi @Squeaky, Me waving. ; )
I agree with @Painful One that eventually things will work out and fall into place. I also think it's really great that you are so self aware. You're not in denial and you are always striving to do better.
Try to be proud of those things, I think you're doing a great job. As someone with chronic pain as well, I know how difficult things are.
Nice to speak with you again, I have had a lot going on lately, I really missed you guys and I am going to try to come back on here more.
I don't have any other chronic pain patient friends IRL, no one that understands the war on pain patients or the stigma attached to our medication. Plus just the day to day bs that is our lives from chronic pain.
Phew I'm exhausted. Lol.
I will try not to be such a stranger in the future.
Lots of people are using Kratom for pain relief. I know several people with pretty serious problems including arthritis, bone-on-bone knees, cancer...... all getting amazing relief from Kratom. Just beware it raises your tolerance for other opiates. My hope is to stay on Kratom only for a few months. Hopefully stockpile some oxy for the future when I might really need it.I do not know how but I have a feeling this is going to work out @Squeaky
I like what you are saying.
I have found that with my brain injury that I cannot think straight without the morphine.
I also think it has caused permanent new pathways to form in my brain due to using the morphine for so long.
I am finding that less morphine and some Kratom together is working well for me.
I have just been trying that for 2 days now, so I will let you know how that goes but so far so good.
I really just need to get back on track of using the prescribed amount daily.
It is nice to know I can use this Kratom for flare ups.
That way I do not run out or run myself short on my prescription.
It tastes like dried powdered baby poop. If you can’t stand the ‘swish n swallow’ method (that’s what I do and I have thrown up several times), mix it with a few ounces of orange juice or buy the empty capsules online. I’m taking about 6 grams at a time and it’s really difficult to swallow. If you look for the cinnamon challenge on YouTube..... it’s exactly the same. Onset is faster if you take only the powder, and it’s effective even if you eat 30 minutes prior.I tried the Kratom and it does work pretty dang good!
(today was my first try with some high quality powder. It is much more effective than the crap few capsules I got from a head shop)
You guys would have laughed your ass’s off watching me try to figure out how to get it down the hatch.
OMG! That stuff tastes and smells horrible.
First I tried making a sludge tea. Lol!
I had to just dump that down the toilet.
I finally ended up emptying some cannabis oil capsules into some spearmint tea and refilled the capsules with the Kratom.
I then drank the cannabis oil / spearmint tea.
I am feeling a whole lot better now!
It is so great to see you @EPL1
I missed you Ash!
I hope you are getting by with your chronic pain somehow.
It just sucks that we have to resort to this kind of stuff!
If my doctor would just give me 10 more pills a month, I would be fine.
I am lucky and thankful that is all I would really need.
(If I was prescribed enough medication I think I could actually be a functioning member of society again)
@Squeaky - some advise please on methods of swallowing that stuff.
Swish and swallow- I will give that a try.It tastes like dried powdered baby poop. Nice thing is it lasts for several hours.
