Yeah, I agree. It's a very sad story. But, in my opinion, a LOT of beauty came out of it. Especially in the galleries.

...Beautiful Losers was a dope movie. But then again, I love Shepard Fairey, so I suppose I'm biased.
 
that piece was the winner of art prize in grand rapids last year. the artist took home 250,000$ cool ones.

the competition was based on a popular vote.
 
I would have voted for you... if you entered. I don't see you in the artists list. Why didn't you submit one of your awesome pieces?

i did have a piece last year. it was hung pretty badly lol, and in a not top notch venue.

the artists up there are from this year, i didn't enter this year.

Not conventional art, but I think it's pretty great and I wasn't sure of where else to post it. Creative at the least.
