Harm Reduction How dangerous is mixing Kratom and alcohol + users experiences w/ the combo?

thats true but effect wise there are some major differences. he may have meant its not an opiate. Some people don't know the difference between the word opiate and opioid. Kratom is an opioid but not an opiate. A normal dose of kratom does not depress a persons breathing like opiates do, in fact low doses of kratom are stimulating and probably don't produce any respiratory depression at all.

Thats not to say i recommend mixing it with alcohol, this combo could potentally cause dizziness, nausea and other unpleasant effects and could potentially tax the liver. None the less, its far less likely to cause than mixing alcohol with morphine or another real opiate.
