Here's my Beauty. Black, her sister died on 26 November last year, in bed with me. We loved her very much but we still have darling Beauty.
When she came to me Thursday 19 August 2010, at 11 am, they were so very frightened. Ran under the sofa n stayed in hiding for days. They'd come out at night n scratch the house to shreds - so we got the scratching posts.
I actually kept they in for 2 months - I was petried of them getting knocked down like Meow did or going missing like Mrs Fish.
But my parents talked me roumd it thats not healthy or fair on them.
They were 2 years old when they came to me. So I guess that Beauty
Is now 6.
She purrs at me now. She still runs from people n even me n lilvibe at times but we've got there with her.
Despite what people say cats ARE sensitive to the feelings of humans. I've lost count of the times I've cried n Beauty or Black came to me purring n being affectionate.
They are perfect. I'd have a houseful of the lil buggers if i could. Dont demand attention unless they need food n do as they please. Bad points - cats are not good with roads
Dogs: i'll give those lil buggers a heads up too. Jesse, my Nain Peggy's dog, kept her company through her last years on thus planet. Many a time my Nain would say she'd have died long ago had it not been for Jesse.jesse was black n white.
Jesse was a cross spaniel-sheepdog n was affectionate, loving; a good companion. A family member took her when my Nain died in 2006 n I know she'll have an ace life with her.
Jesse's mam, Penny, was just as adorable, ginger furred, gentle, sweetest dog in the world. Would sleep for hours by my Nain's coal- log fire or by my Nain during her later years. Both dogs knew that my Nain was ill n were very affectionate n loving. They'd bark to let us know when someone was coming.
Dogs are also useful for getting would of wasted food as the buggers will eat most things.
I'm a cat person but for obvious, stated reasons I'll always have a fondness n place in my heart for dogs too.
