I was just on the balcony thinking about how people mix the two.
I don't know shit about stimulants, i know some about depressants, mostly from experience, then obv some from research. I only have experience with caffeine as an upper, nothing else, mainly because i have depression and anxiety and from what i've gathered, people have experienced anxiety attacks on them and the comedown you get very depressed. I've heard of paranoia too, but from what i heard it's from crack. Could someone maybe explain these things? I will do some research too, but still, i'd really appreciate it.

Now, onto the questions.
How safe is this combination? Say someone does too many opiates, could uppers help bring the pulse and heartbeat back up?
How would one dose these substance, which one would you do first? I know it probably depends on substance, but idk many uppers.
Are there different 'areas' within stimulants? Like with depressants there's antihistamines, opiates/opioids, benzos, barbituates etc.
I think that's it for now :)

Prefix questions;
What's 'bupe' and 'HR'?

some people mix highs at the same time allthough I normally prefer not to. and normally and safest way to dose would be do your uppers first and on the comedown take your downers. it will ease/nullify the crash and allow you sleep and or get high :). bupe= buprenorphine and it's a maintenance drug for people tryin to quit opiates/oids and it's brand name would be suboxone or subutex
and HR=harm reduction and is the whole point of this website.

Generally mixing uppers and downers leads to a rough levelling out of the effects of both. For instance, mixing amphetamines (sulphate, not that crazy yankie methamp.lol) with a benzo will give you the energizing effects of amps but the benzo will take the jittery edge off the amp high.
Of course dose makes a big difference to subjective effects ie. if you take a large dose of a stimulant and a small dose of a depressant then the stimulant will likely overpower the effects of the depressant.
Opiates in my opinion sit in a funny grey area as they seems to add to the euphoria of stimulants , especially in the case of cocaine.
Cocaine and heroin is the classic 'speedball' because instead of partially cancelling out each others effects, they seem to synergize and increase the strength of the high. However, mixing coke and opiates is ill-advised for anyone new to these drugs as it very easy to 'overdo' it with this combo.
In fact, id advise against mixing anything with strong opiates, even with experienced users it frequently goes wrong and when it goes wrong with heroin, morphine, oxycodone etc it can easily be deadly.

Im the same, I dont feel right when I mix uppers and downers.
As for the extra danger...id hazard a guess that part of the risk is because they mask each other warning signs that your taking too much.
