I just turned thirty and I was in some major accidents in my early 20s. I shattered my Jaw in a vehicle accident in an s10 (thank God I was alone) because I rolled the little truck through an abandoned house, well actually I ended up in the garage. My face hit the metal aftermarket steering wheel that I had going 60 mph and the right side of my jaw was crushed. When I woke up, or "came to", my body was on the ground because my passenger window was open for whatever reason, so I could have been easily thrown out of the window and smooshed or cut in half had I not miraculously stayed inside this single cab s10 truck. It was the most bloody and gruesome experience of my life. As a result, my jaw was swollen shut, and the doctors put me back together with permanent plates and screws. I can basically get any pain killer you can think of because I basically have plates and shit holding me together. One more incident that happened in Kaneohe, HI was when I broke my clavicle in half by bombing a hill, and that was so bad it was nearly a compound fracture, which means that my collar bone almost ripped through my skin. As a result, they put a plate on my clavicle, which they don't really do that anymore, they just let it heal, but my fracture was really bad. The reason that I am responding to this, other than sharing my experience, is because I will usually take 1mg to 2mg of Klonopin daily to sleep, and Norco or Percocet to ease the pain. I wish I didn't need to take it, but without the painkillers I get headaches (especially when it is cold) from the plates in my jaw and my right shoulder is always bothering me. I can feel the plate, it's like 6 or 7 inches long with 9 screws. It's really bad when it's cold. And the point all that point was.....you can take benzodiazepines and opiates together, but in moderation... Klonopin is the best one in my opinion because it lasts longer, and you can still function. If you're using it for recreational purposes, just use these two together cautiously because people have died from taking them together.
