OK I'm dedicating this thread to the simple pleasures that many of us don't even recognise most of the time. I'm talking about that first sip of coffee in the morning. I'm talking about putting on a T-Shirt just out of the dryer. I'm talking about a cold beer on a hot day after some backbreaking work. You get the picture guys, name some of the simple pleasures you have but unless you think about it won't even realise.

Falling asleep in the sun.
Long drives with good friends and good tunes.
The hug hello from a good friend.
A comforting voice on the other end of the phone when things get hard.
blah blah blah.

getting into bed when you've just changed the bed linen. mmmmm fresh bed linen

waking up and realising it stopped raining overnight and the sun is out and its a beautiful day! orrr when its foggy all morning and come abt 11am and the fog lifts and its crisp and sunny

the sound of silence when you turn your computer off after a long assignment or work project.
trying a new bath gel or body creme or soap.
twilight.
the stars on a clear night.
watching ants scurry in a quiet place in the sun.
=)
 
Getting mail (besides bills/ads).
Having the munchies and finding lollies in the fridge.
Setting yourself goals for the day and achieving them, ie - wanking...oh this thread is so corrupted now.

yay for my really old grey fluffy slippers, which are falling apart, i can put on after work

Waking up when you have the day off work, to a beautiful day (sun's out and it's warm).
Then you sit on the front porch, have your first cigarette for the day and watch all of those people going to work/school/uni, whilst you're still in your doggy pj's playing whatever music you feel like listening to.
It's the simple things in life that are often the best

-Having a great big satisfying crap.
-Pulling out a big nasty doof snot when scat in the morning and flicking it at someone.
-Bean bags in the sun when there is a cool breeze.
-Snorting vodka.
-Huggles are always nice too

laying on the couch watching tv with ur cat sleeping on ur back ... cute when it happens but uncomfortable afterwards, the massage is nice though

-Silently enjoying a freakin hot day with all yr friends in a pool somewhere
-Finding $20 in a pocket or someplace where you *knew* you wouldn't forget where it was
-Picnics
-Finding an old movie/TV show from when you were a chittlin
-Cold beer/Iced Coffee/Melted cheese on any day you can mention
-Exams that are easier than you expected
-Finding out people you haven't seen in years are actually cool now
-Friday afternoons-sunday afternoons
-Night Swimming during middle of summer

The way the sky looks at dusk when there's fluffy clouds around, and the sun is on just the right angle to make them turn bright pink for about 10 minutes.
