so here i am in school, supposedly studying for an exam in 3hours time but damn forum boards!
icon8.gif

im not too concerned about the url history kept by IE, i think everytime a new user logs in, the settings are reset. there've been times when someone asks me what im writing and i tell them its just some discussion board :\ 8)
i tend to have a browser window opened for bluelight wherever i am (at home, at school, at friends' places, anywhere with an internet connection); im sure that's not a good thing :\
where do you bluelight from (right now/usually)?
are u concerned about privacy?
what can/do u do about it? (deecee made a recent post asking about that in the technology thread, here)

I bluelight at home (30%) and work (70%)
It doesn't concern me - I'm not doing anything illegal and work know's that I'm a raver with associated activities - My boss is an ex-hippie from the 60's who would put me to shame if we compared notes :)
Oh, and as far as history - download something like Cyberscrub that will clean all you internet history, deleted files, and free space with upto 35 random passes - this makes past information unrecoverable even with software and hardware recovery tools. You set the amount of times you wish it to "pass" - the more passes the more secure, but the longer it takes. I set mine to work overnite at work.
Cyberscrub is free to download and use for 30 days, but I'm sure hacks for it can be obtained - did I say that, naughty hastey ;)

Home (80%) and Uni (20%)....
if im away and i need a BL fix ill go to an internet cafe... but i havent done that for quite a while

all day at work, it's all I do, and they seem to pay me for this.......

about 50/50 home/work. I always have a browser open at work and when I go get a coffee I usually refresh and read before getting back to work. Although when classes start again in the new year it'll be like 95% home :)
Am I concerned about privacy? Nope I'm probably the most computer literate in the place and the ones who are just as or more computer literate wouldn't give a rats. I have my own office and nobody uses my computer or has access to it on the network other than myself.
I have a pretty unique working environment though and if i had to work anywhere else there is no way in hell I'd be on bluelight there.

mostly home, there's been a few close calls when Ive accidentally left browsers open ... not sure dad would be keen on reading about what I get up to on the weekends ;)
I'm the most comp literate at home so all I do is delete history in IE.
if its not busy I bluelight at work but I tend to only read social or events at work, just to be on the safe(r) side. Mind you, I wandered past someones desk at work the other day just in time to see them open up some porno link and he's still working there.

net cafes.
sounds stupid, but think about it...
stops me being out on the streets running amock.
super dooper quick cable shit.
shoot people in CS.
don't pay because it's a friends....
the best.

Home 100%
Unless at gf's place, which is kinda like home only slower. :)

I recently took the step of buying my 1st very own PC at the age of 18, not only is it better than the one downstairs, but its networked to the net too.
So now, from my room :)
-funk-jar-

I only BL from home. I'm the only one using the computer, so privacy is not an issue. Plus my parents know that I 'do stuff', so it doesn't matter.

In my room.
When I was home once at my parents I looked on bluelight and then I was paranoid for about a week worrying my dad would accidently click on it. So I am not using it there ever again.

90% home - 10% uni (which will stop over the holidays).
Am i worried? Nope! The uni browsers reset every time a new user logs on. I actually have Bluelight in my bookmarks at home and my parents don't care - this site was how they discovered what i do on certain weekends, but having said that, my dad's tripped more in his life than i have so he can't really get upset because he was no better at my age. :)

about 95% from my room at college... the rest of the time at uni, and if i am away from here for any large length of time i have been known to frequent internet cafes...
CB :)

Just remember that when logging in from a public terminal, UBB stores your username and password in a cookie on that machine in plaintext.

70% work, 30% home.....probably 100% of the day I spend online. Pretty sad I reckon!

i've been known to spend 14hrs on the computer, on the net; with bluelight open.
embarrassingly sad but true :\
right now, im at home, supposedly studying again.
if only uni provides a degree in moderating, or if i can put this in my resume :D

80% work
20% home
I have a new corner desk at work, I can now read and post to SLR during work hours and anything else. OMG, my productivity is going to hit zero and I'm going to get fired!!! :(
