GOLDEN NANGS 2006 - NOMINATIONS

Due to popular demand (well, from about 4 people :p ;)), they're back. At the moment we're just taking nominations (the categories are below), but soon the voting will begin. You can nominate as many people as you want for as many categories as you want (please make your nominations clear, and make sure you do, because once the voting starts you only get one vote (per category) each.

You can either nominate here in this thread, or if you're embarrassed about revealing your true feelings, pm them to me. Once the nominations are closed, voting threads will be created.

Then the winners will be announced!

i think we should make some new categories this year.
it seems like the same ppl seem to win every year, making it somewhat of a non-event.

Ok firstly,

As Kat pointed out to me recently, last year there were 22 categories in the Golden Nangs - we both think that's pretty fucking ridiculous, and made the whole thing drag out worse than an episode of the wedge.

I propose, if people honestly, truly, seriously, madly, deeply want new categories, that they replace old categories.

Stuff like safest bluelighter, and hottest guy/hottest girl I think is a bit lame (ok, fine it's because I actually cry myself to sleep every night that I will never win ;)) and I wouldn't mind if someone came up with someone truly appropriate, if they were replaced.

However KKE - sweetest/nicest bler? Can I be the first to say...uh NO! :p

So yeah - the onus is on you guys, think of some cool new categories, and some to ditch, and the powers that be will decide whether we include them.

(caveat: only if this is ok with the other mods. I have kind of just gone on a tangent here responding to popular requests :))
 
^^ i'm with you 100% MP :) i.e: when i think of "Most Khandied" the image of fluoro beads, tickle me elmo from ear-hole to arsehole and "binkies" springs to mind... i think it's pretty irrelevant really, but that's just me. Hottest guy/girl is a bit lame too, IMHO.

I have to agree on the "sweetest/nicest bluelighter" as well. :\
 
+ 1 to the Khandi one.

I think the following should be replaced. I don't see what relevance they have to BL or Aus Social for that matter.

Seeing that this is an online community, those categories just scream 'clique', IMO.

And yes, I'm just bitter because I'm not in a clique. :( ;)
