We've listed the films that we would enjoy living in... and I've noticed that many times the reasons are due to the characters that you would be surrounded by... why not just take the next step, and say who you would want to be in film-world.

I would choose Amelie.

My apologies if this has already been a subject for a thread.. I didn't find any in search.

well, in Zion she'd have the plugs as would I, and I imagine the sex would be pretty normal.

However, in the matrix...

can i just ask why anyone would want to sit in jail for such a long time for a crime they didnt do - ala andy dufresne in shawshank?

i guess you could say he gained satisfaction in some way from what he did, but still, im curious :)

my answer, yeah i would have to say james bond would be about the ultimate.
- totally invincible
- bond girls
- cars
- gadgets
- exotic locations

what more could you want?

cravNbeets

I guess Donnie Darko, because he is not the typical hero - quite flawed and just trying to figure things out for himself. Also I'm infatuated with the actress that plays his girlfriend in the film - Jena Malone, (just finished watching Life As a House which renewed this :)).

I guess though if I had to go with the macho hero tough guy character I would choose Indiana Jones (some of my favourite movies of all time).

I agree with 1234 about Fox Mulder as well. I wish I was that witty. He's a nerd but still fucking cool...

Maybe Atreyu from the Neverending Story...

Possily T.S. from Mallrats (he gets to marry Claire Forlani).

dude I don't even know you that well but you definetely strike me as a Randall/Brody type.

everyone says I remind them of MR BLONDE from RESERVOIR DOGS (check the avatar). yes I am a crazy mofo that likes to cut cops' ears off.

I wish I was like Samuel Jackson in PULP FICTION.

^ Don't think I have seen it but will definitely check it out now.. Thanks for the heads up...

Donnie is great. I still watch it every now and then not so much for the story anymore but more for the interaction between the characters. I love the family - kind of dysfunctional, but true to life.

There is love and tension at the same time...
