Wow I just read the story, that's amazing.

I can't believe they took that family's minivan and never gave it back for just one pot pipe. That's terrible. What an immense financial burden. *shakes fist at war on drugs*

That's because there are no oranges. I've heard tomatoes the most used as the thc vehicle. This particular story is from an article from "South to the Future".

http://www.sfbg.com/wire/20.html

Quoted:

"The South to the Future World Wide Wire Service is a weekly feed of technology and media news commentary and satire published by the San Francisco Bay Guardian. Quotations attributed to public figures who are satirized are often true, but sometimes invented. Some fictional statements may, in fact, be true. Any other use of real names is accidental and coincidental. Editorial questions may be sent to John Paczkowski."

This comes up all the time. Even if curiosity doesn't take hold, wouldn't the feeling of not wanting to appear stupid make you check the cyberdataweb for information relating to this? A cross-examination if you will. Sigh.

Peace,
PL

was the cheap shot at the end really necessary?

"off and on" means every time this reading surfaces i would do a google search or two. no research, no cross-referencing or examining-- just searching for a vendor. if i remember correctly, though, i first saw this article in High Times... not on some obscure drug-related website.

it's not like i've made it my life's work to enjoy the fruits of another potheads labor.

Man... it's not a cheap shot. It's encouragement. It's saying, "Hey... all of us have a lot of capability to think." Even if it were a lot of work. Manggggg… its a part of the whole anti-intellectual complex or hatred of anything that represents hardwork. People make fun of people that try or are interested. That's not "cool". The US is the most insecure nation in the world and why shouldn't it be when the government/people won't take care of their own. You can lose it all in America. There is not a great social support system. And that allows people to be afraid constantly. And everyone reflects that fear back. But... rant aside. THC oranges haha... man it would've taken less time to figure out it was wrong less than to post this. But all the same I wish it were true.

google search: "thc orange real?"

Peace,
PL

EDIT: Even better try searching bluelight for thc oranges.

It's the first thread after this one.

Hey asshat I'm a drug addict and I don't appreciate anyone trying to "encourage me" or telling me that I can, in fact, think for myself (what nonsense!!). This kind of garbage needs to stay off bluelight. </sarcasm>

I did believe this when I first read it, but only because I assumed it has to be possible in this day and age. Suppose not though.

People assume lots of things and that is an issue I was trying to address. However, I was coming down from a week long MDMA snorting binge and am bipolar AND there wasn't even emotional affect to what I wrote. So y'all need to realize that we all the capability to think and then develop that into an ability so there's less of this misconstruing and assuming goin' awn round heeyuh. I wasn't going to respond, but this might give whoever needs to think it the chance to think, "Hey he wasn't being mean. He brought up a damn good point in a direct fashion. We should all be so rational and forthright." This thread has veered as all good conversations veer, but the lesson is so important. In fact you could apply this same lesson to many aspects of drug use. If perchance you are "chilling" with friends having a "sesh" and one of them lights up a "marihuana" cigarette you can say, "Hey man! No way! I like being sane and not raping women." If they try to coerce you into raping men you can also say no, it was just an example. If I hadn't cross-referenced marihauna's ill effects I might think it okay to "blaze". But thank god I know otherwise.

when i have an arrow pointing to the post directly above mine (like this ^^ in case you're not following), it means i was addressing the post directly above mine, not the essayist who damn well did take a cheap shot at me by insinuating that i either don't know how to or choose not to think.

Just so we're clear: I was writing to the poster to whom you also wrote. That's why I used the same language he did, but all the same. I didn't insinuate anything. I said it very directly, but in my efforts to be scientific I ruffled feathers which was not my intent. I rather like birds. Especially female parrots, as the males get far too aggressive and if they haven't bonded with you... well... you know how that goes.
