But for me the original Mortal Kombat arcade wins hands down.
"Get over here" *whohohohoo*
aaaaah yeah, that was mad.

Yes I agree with complex,
Mortal kombat is a real nice game once you learn all the moves. When it first came out here in Detroit about 8 years ago, everyone used to line up just to have a go.
By the way complex, i like your tracks.
luv Jeff

Yep Space invaders is a good one. In fact I still have that on my Atari system. Must give it a shot soon.
That Paper Boy game I liked too, as well as this other game, it was called something like Maniac Mansion?????????????? They were on Commadore 64.
However you can't beat Mario Bros 1, 2 or 3

yeah! Frogger!
I generally used to like any of the games where you could sit down. You know those table type games.. its was usually Space Invaders, Frogger or Pacman.

I have found memories of
Galaga
Snow Bros.
Moon Patrol

Remember the Street Fighter 2 craze and the trademark 'unbeatable' moves of Ryu and Kens dragonpunch, or Guile's sonic boom and summersault kick?
Well back in the days there was the mother-of-all unbeatable moves as seen in Double Dragon... remember that elbow??!! *SMASH*
------------------
PIKACHU... Thunderbolt Attack!!!!
"....CHHHHHUUUU!!!!!!"

wonderboy, and bubble bobble..
clocking bubble bobble took ages on arcade.. machine was kinda broken so everytime you punch the coin slot you got a credit.. mate broke his wrist but we clocked it :P
even with original game and power up cheats on some of the levels were so bloody hard..

Mikey, i like ure taste in games, but i reckon revenge of shinobi rox even more!!!

Wizrd of war rocked in the black room! Spoooky, watching those little man run around and those wicked laser sounds. Bye bye n64, C64 is making a comeback, 2d style!

I'm putting to rest all arguments over best soccer game ever..
it goes to C64's Microprose Micro Soccer or whatever it was called. The overhead one and you'd score from corner of 18yard box.. first time i head of the country Oman as well

Anyone ever play Hounded as well? Started my gambling problem

Wow, what a coincidence, I was just talking about this today.
My all time favorites would have to be:
Ghosts and Gobblins.
Kung Fu.
1947 (or was it 1942?)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (did I waste some money on that one)
Galaga.
