Yellow rock opium?

Awhile i got ahold of what was called yellow rock opium from my dealer. I smoked 5 of the rocks over a bowl and was blown away. This was my first opium experience. Then i tried some black tar opium about a month later and it was completly different. I was wondering if anyone with opium knowledge could tell me if the yellow rock was opium, and if not what was it exactly?

was it like good crack.... or was it like baking soda urine rocks? Could this be dragon's piss insense? what did the smoke look/smell like (comparison to black tar or in general)?

I've never had crack, but it was a shortlived high. It tasted sweet, and smelled a little like the black tar. It also melted instantly. I had some slight visual distortions, and i could feel a HUGE rush off the first hit. the whole thing lasted about 30-45 minutes when we did some more. It was a light yellow color, and didn't crumble very easily, but it did break easy.

Ok...this is funny because of the fact I fell for it about 4 years ago.
"Yellow Rock" opium? Yes, it smells a bit odd, and you feel a *bit* altered...but honestly, you smoke enough of anything you'll feel something. Hell if you smoke plastic i'm sure it causes some altered state of conciousness...like death. But anywhoo...
This mighty rock? Not crack. Not urine. Guess?...this is good: Violin Wax. So, we checked w/ some kids in the HighSchool band and they showed us some violin wax...not crushed with a hammer or something else. Yep. So that could be your substance.

OPIUM IS A BLACK TAR-LIKE SUBSTANCE. ANYTHING ELSE IS *NOT OPIUM*
Yellow rock = NOT OPIUM
Red rock = NOT OPIUM
White rock = NOT OPIUM
You said you smoked this yellow stuff "over a bowl" of weed I'm assuming. What you felt was the weed, and the rest was all in your head... It's nice that you finally did get your hands on some real O, though, you're lucky.

I'm am almost certian it wasn't a placebo effect. The weed we got wasn't that great of weed, i just didn't want to smoke it plain. And i was sober when we started and i was feeling very fucked up after the first hit or two. And it gave me an almost instantaious rush, as i was exhaling, that weed doesn't. I'm pretty sure it was something, i just wonder what so i can get some more. It was very nice, and the other people who where with all agree (there where 4 of us altogether).
does anyone else think it may have been crack? we never have crack here (arkansas), so no one around would have been able to identify it. Maybe that's why they passed it off as opium?

1) If you smoked it "with weed" then you know NOTHING about the effects of the OTHER CHEMICAL. Period.
2) Opium is a black tar. Period.
3) If it's NOT a black tar, it is NOT opium. Period.

I've figured out that it wasn't opium. i kinda figured that out after i smoked some black tar. that's why i asked here, i was just wondering what else it could be. I've smoked alot of weed and ive never had weed hit it me the second i exhaled it. Sorry if these kind of post get old, but im new to the board.

Wait, PhreeX, I don't get it! Are you trying to tell me that red/white/yellow rock I bought for a great price of 10$ a gram ( because I'm sleeping with my dealer) was fake? No way, d00d! We sprinkled it on top of some weed and I got way fux0red up, yo!

AFAIK, crack is more expensive than opium. Opium is cheap. Placebo can be powerful, apparently it's stopped people from K-holing when they had sugar, it's stopped people from tripping when they had a dairy product (a dealer swears by bananas--dumbass), and much more commonly it's made people enjoy smoking incense, chalk, violin wax or whatever when THEY SMOKE IT WITH WEED!
 
okay, then ill chalk that one up to placebo. thanks everyone for not being to hard on me for not knowing my shit. i guess i was just hoping that it was something (even if it wasn't opium) because i felt something from it. owell, i got it for dirt cheap so i guess if i thought i enjoyed it then i didn't really get that bad of a deal.

I didn't enjoy getting ripped off. But if it was placebo then it was nice, cause i felt more fucked up than normal. and i only spent 5 dollars on it. I'm just gonna be more suscpicous from now on. At least i didn't fall for the dragon's blood when it went through town ("Man, that is some of the best O ever. Of course you gotta smoke a shitload, but its worth it.")

fuck yeah!! thank you someone backed up my statement I made about this substance a few months ago when i saw some. Then some more people started threads and I stated it was Violin Resin, b/c a friend and I were talking about it and thats what he told me it was. Thanks for making this a solid statement now!!

For the hell of it, I ganked my sisters thing of Violen resin/wax (used for the bow) .. I am going to cut a chunk and give it to a friend as "amber opium, imported from Columbia, it's refined 700 times" .. I will tell him it's the real deal, see what he reports..
I am not being mean though - he gets his first hit (about 1/4g) for free, after that, it goes for $20 a gram!

It does kinda bother me when I realize its not opium and then I get to wonder what it was that I put in my lungs.
 
Homey just left.. I was gunna give it to him, but instead I made him burn me a copy of Photoshop 6 (LENSE FLARES!) .. I will see what type of trip report he gives me.. I burnt a tiny bit of the stuff on the tip of a needle - it smells NOTHING like opium, but doesn't really smell *THAT* bad when burnt..
