Would health insurance pay for medical pot?

Insurance covers nothing related to medical marijuana; nor is anything tax-deductible, like with other medical expenses.

^ thats a pretty bold statement!

well i mean, it's exaggerated a little but damn. my insurance, company X, has fucked me so many times. they wouldn't cover x surgery (not elective), they wouldn't pay for any type of therapy or psychiatry.

i've known friends with similar situations, especially where they had to pay out the ass for mental health treatment.:(

It is really tough when your insurance doesn't cover the things you need. The fact that they don't often cover mental health is very sad to me. Thankfully I have had excellent health coverage most of my life, but it will soon be running out and I will have NOTHING.

I seriously doubt that any insurance company would pay for medicinal marijuana no matter the need.

Hell, my insurance company won't even cover ER visits in my town. But payed $39k on my $40k rehab stay. How ridiculous is that?
