ok, so you just dose'd up on acid/shrooms wotever, times goes by, it kicks in, now tell me wot you see.
ive never done cid or shrooms but would like to soon, and i want to know wot to expect.
my friends have tryed it b4 and said "nah man its shit, you dont see shit like micky mouse and stuff, you just see funny patterns" now i know everybody is differant, and each to there own but im still interested, and from wot ive read on here i think wot they said is BS.
so c'mon, let me in on some of the things im gunna see.

i had a sword fight with a man who was behind my tv, i have watched football many times on walls and even on turned off tv's. seen lights coming at my eyes so fast i have to close my eyes, people floating and infront of me, animals also appear frequently my fave was a froghog which appeared to be a combination of a frog and hedgehog erm.....yeah!

I've never actually seen anything. But I think the most I ever took of any psychoactive substance was 20mg T7, insufflated.
I would have to agree with your friends in that I just see crazy patterns and inanimate objects moving.
Maybe I just need to try a very large dose of LSD or shrooms.

Using hallucinogenic drugs isn't like renting a video - you can't read the back of the box to find out what's going to happen.
Maybe you should stop wondering what you're going to see, and start wondering if you should even be doing acid yet. I think some more reading is in order for you, because you obviously don't understand what hallucinogens are about at the moment...

Here's a trip that just happened (shrooms-light dose);
I had dosed by myself in the comfort of my own home, and was sitting at my computer. It was nightime, and the only light on in my room was on the opposite end of the room as my computer, so I was getting a reflection. I decided to listen to some mp3 music, and put on one of those cool visual programs that respond to the music. My contacts and glasses were off, so normally my vision is incredibly blurry, but soon I noticed that when I looked at the reflection of the light on my monitor, I could see the light and wall perfectly. Then as stared at it, it seemed to come alive. My wallpaper turned into flowers, and the light turned into a crane. I also saw random clown masks floating around my screen. I started to believe I was looking into a pond/swamp place, then when I finally shook my head and loked away from my monitor, everything was weirdly colored, but otherwise normal.
That's a typical beginning of a trip for me.

once when i had mda i saw these white fireballs everywhere, they didn't look real but it was really fun.

everything is alive and breathing

I've done acid three times and shrooms twice and have only ever hallucinated once. I had 2 yellow melodies as well so that could explain why

I saw these 2 girls who were talking to each other just over the other side of the room and as I glanced over they turned REALLY hairy! I mean they looked like cousin It or whatever from the Adams Family. And the icing on the cake was that her glasses were still on

I hallucinate on plain old KB, so I may be visual prone or something...

Well, to start off, having taken both Cid, and Shrooms, I do tend to find differences in the speciic visuals I get. First off with Cid, I tend to see more movement in patterns, melting/breathing, shifting in patterns. The biggest thing that I have gotten while tripping was synthasia, the physical feeling of music. I do think that there was a very mild dose of PCP in the cid though. But my acid experiences have tended to be more color intensity, and breathing/moving of objects, also to include plastic reality, and reality wall paper(ie. reality ends at a certin distance from you, and you see the world, but it just looks like it was printed on wall paper, but the wall paper keeps moving with you, so you never get to the wall). And the occasional discussion with inanimate objects. The strangest thing with Cid is the time dialation, I was at the DEMF and it would seem like 10 minutes would go by between when my friends took turns speaking to each other. Basicaly I have only gotten level 3 hallucinations off of cid. With shrooms, I have noticed that I tend to have higher level hallucinations, like the celing will dissapear, and there was my good friend who was laying next to me, and I saw multiple copies of her dancing where the celing was, then she morphed in to another girl who I did not know. Also I have noticed that with shrooms it is easier to distort gravity by laying on your back, and putting your legs against a wall or bed, like you were sitting on the wall, and after a short time you actually for get that you are laying down and it seems as though you are sitting with the celing as a wall infront of you. My shroom experiences have included things breathing/melting and movement of inanimate objects, but I have had more higher level hallucinations, including what i believe to be level 5 halucinations, where reality actualy pretty well dissapeared, and things just didn't mean any thing to me. Also I have found that I tend to do more thinking with shrooms then cid. But I strongly agree that you should look in to what you will be takeing more before you take it. Just be sure to know exactly what you are putting in your body, and what the repercussions can be, as well as any potential dangers.

I've had some quite mental shrrom trip (and a couple acid trips before) and had some cool hallucinations.
On the lower end of the scale you get things like the grain in marble tiles moving, flower patterns on tiles or walls/fabric moving and walls breathing.
One of the coolest things I saw was where a door had been painted badly and drips of paint had dried. When tripping it looked as if these drips of paint were dripping down the door and the door melting.
Some of the more mental things i've seen have been changes in perspective, say your bedroom will appear much smaller or bigger that it really is. I've had my whole 3d vision appear like a sheet of 2D (like what was said above my post with the wallpaper), changes of vision in hues of colour (shades of reds/ purples/yellow, seen shadows turn into people that I know and my friends faces have melted/ morphed like in fear and loathing!
Just a few things but you get the idea. It can get intense so be careful. I tend to get the same headfuck on acid as I do off shrooms but it is introspective and you can learn a hell of a lot about yourself.

i get some pretty wicked visuals when using LSD. i love to watch the clouds, esp. on a windy day, they look like spider-webby fingers etching themselves across the sky. i usually feel like i'm in a painting, and the paint hasn't yet dried. but the cool thing about acid is where it takes your mind. what you see may be awesome, but where acid takes your mind is even better. you think about everything differently. for example, my friend's old dog looked like a wolf, hunting us in the snow when we dropped on New Year's, i saw this whole cinario before me because of what simple images made my brain think of and transform it into. ahhh...the beauty of hallucinagins...

ok thanx everyone, but one more thing.
its very well ya'll saying "you need to learn more" "your not ready", how do i 'be' ready? ive read most of the trip reports on erowid, wot else should i do? any sugestions?

god. you'll see god.
but about being ready.. just know that with most typtamines, you can't expect anything because yuor entire trip is in your head. it's not the drug. typtamines are like a key to a door in everyone's head, but what is behind that door is different for everybody. if you start having a bad trip, just take some deep breaths and know it's the drug and not fer real. yo.

Psychedelics interfere with (among other things) the various layers of 'software' in your brain that handle the processing and interpretation of the data sent by your eyes.
This 'software' does things such as edge detection, movement perception, compensation for persistence of vision, pattern recognition, color boundary correlation, rejection of irrelevent information, object recognition, and scene interpretation and comprehension.
Hallucunations are what happens when this software is debilitated. For example, I have seen a girl walking along with a squirrel on her shoulder. It was a misinterpretation: the squirrel was actually her pony tail. Another person had a samll biting animal chomping on her hand (it turned out to be a change purse with a zipper.) These were the result of faulty object recognition.
Scene interpretation errors can turn the whole visual field into stained glass, or a cartoon, or fractals.
Scene comprehension errors can turn a busy street of shoppers into a harrowing mob of vigilantes looking to lynch the druggie. This is known as a bad trip.
Bottom line: It fucks you up.
Now this may permit you to focus on internal things that are not so apparent when you are in an un-altered state of consciousness. You might confront or even comprehend yourself in insightful ways. This is the trip to yourself. Not everyone likes it when they get there. Some people are pleasantly surprised. Some manage to fix up a few defects while they're there or when they return.
Interesting stuff.
If you do this, think long and hard about what you find after your trip.
Good luck

my friends and i have tried to describe the visuals we get..
i get spiraling shapes.. things are broken down to "mosaic-like" pieces. i will look at a solid colored item, and see it 'BLOOM' into different paisley prints
weird shit

i love cid

I usually get very wavy visuals, flat surfaces seem to breathe, wood grain looks like running water etc. The room seems to be constantly changing sizes and when you listen to someone else's conversation it seems like you are watching a movie.
I also get the feeling that there is always someone standing right behind me.
Oh yeah... the trails. this is my favorite part of the trip. Moving objects leave massive trails behind them.
