Worst drug to get addicted to ..

I haven't had the pleasure of being addicted to opiates, coke, or amps. But benzos are a bitch to get hooked on I'll tell you that, withdrawals are hell and you would kill a man to get that soothing kpin, at least I have a steady supply...Cigs are a bitch too, not so much physically but mentally.

As for gambling, I live in Reno, once you get gamble-itis, it's probably not going to stop until you forget to pay big lou back and get your legs broke.

Well, there are some persuasive arguments here. But I think the worst drug to be addicted to is the one that you yourself* are addicted to. Because that's the one you're gonna have to kick.

*Not that I am saying anyone in particular is an addict. I am speaking of the general "you".

I don't know, but I suspect that withdrawing from benzos would be the worst. Unstoppable anxiety sounds worse than a more physical withdrawal pain.

Physically methadone, barbituates or benzo's(Alcohol too)

Psychologically- IV meth or IV anything. Ive been running around tryng to get a good rush from IV meth all week and ive had maybe 3 good rushes from more than 10 shots. It sucked, thats why I havent spent my remaining $70 on the shit because ive spent more than $250 on the crap in the last few days.

once again, it's asking which is the worst drug to get addicted to, not which has the worst withdrawal. if you take benzos your whole life, you will never have a single day of withdrawal. if you're drunk your whole life, you will die pretty soon. i don't see how alcohol isn't worse.

without ANY doubt i would say klonopin and methadone. getting off either of those...............GOOD LUCK. most people who get one either drug never make it off (kpin is basicaly the heavy dutiest benzo you could take EXTREMELY potent) and they both have excrutating LONG drawn out full throttle wds. these 2 drugs, i think are the worst.
sadly im on 6 mg kpin and more benzos and bupe.....i plan on benzos for life its already been 7-8 years or so

I kicked clonazepam after 2 years of heavy daily usage. It took months of tapering on diazepam and still resulted in months of anxiety/insomnia/depersonalization/derealization/delerium tremens.

fucking nightmare and then some.

GHB (or GBL/1,4B)

Addiction to that makes Heroin or crack addiction look like a healthy lifestyle choice.

Completely agree. Although I feel that more than that, the fact that a lot of people's addictions to them start with a prescription pad makes it even more insidious.
Alcohol is tolerated in society but alcoholics are still reminded that it's not technically cool to act that- and more people than used to know about the effects of withdrawing.

Anagramargana Hcl

1. Xanax

2nd. Alcohol Caus It's So Part Of Many Social Gatherings/Socialisin' ect.

Bias.
I'm addicted to both, so I'm heaps bias'd.
An' I've never used needles.
So I Dunno.
Maybe I canna' judge....
But I'd still swap alprazolam wif'drawls for anythin'.
In the world.
You don' feel like you're dyin'.
You ARE.

If a sound three blocks away makes
me
make
a physical bust-move,
somethin's been wrong.

I've heard on I think it was wikipedia that benzos are second to nicotine in the highest percentage of users that get addicted to them. As a clonazepam addict and a smoker I can definatly see that as true.

hate to admit it because i love the stuff, but crystal meth is the absolute worst.
its so fucking intense and hardcore, i seriously feel like i'm possessed by the devil when i'm massively under the influence. I love it, but damn!
no euphoria like that can be duplicated by any any other drug. None even come close!

ALCOHOL!!!!!!!

Only for the fact that it's legal almost everywhere......

I really felt for the alcoholics at rehab....I went to rehab for opiates.....But man, everytime we would go to AA meetings or just drive somewhere, always passing a liquor store, alcohol ads . . . . . .it's everywhere.

It's not really like popping pills or snorthing coke is ever socially acceptable in mainstream society....but alcohol pretty much is..........

The way my mind works, If I see someone in pain, with an injury or something, I think, "ooooh, he has got a nice script of some painkiller." Or if I see some junkie on the street who looks like their life sucks, I think, "he must have some good tar" instead of thinking, "man, if i start using again, im gonna end up like him."

SOOOOO I can only imagine if I was an alcoholic, seeing "normal" people drinking and using my drug of choice.......IT WOULD BE REALLY TOUGH FOR ME.

This might seem a bit silly but caffeine is pretty fucking addictive. I'm sure I'm not the only one who goes apeshit when they don't have thier morning coffee/tea. And it's even more accessible than alcohol or cigs and is in so many things. there are even caffeinated gum and mints sold at the grocery store register. I can't imagine not drinking caffiene becuase it's everywhere you look and pretty much everybody uses it.

Personally I think amphetamines (dextro or meth) are the worst drugs to get addicted to. Because unlike other drugs which cause impairment in some way, amphetamines have the opposite effect. Being on speed makes everything you do better and more enjoyable.

benzos. all of a sudden, you need them to do anything. go on a date, give a presentation, sleep. no other drug has changed my life like xanax. and i do not even use every day but i can not imagine never having some reserves just "in case"

but i can at least function on it. i would say meth would be the worst just because i have seen so many people (including my g/f of 6 years) flush their lives down the toilet because of that drug. i myself danced on the edge of addiction for a little while. and then i found xanax.

Meth is going to have the greatest effect on the person's life

Opiates are going to be the most uncomfortable to quit

and Benzos are going to be the most dangerous to quit - Unstoppable anxiety 24/7 for months, unable to sleep, not being able to tell if your unconciouss or awake, dreading the next seizure that you know will be coming shortly, shaking and vomitting uncontrollably

Switching over from heroin to benzos or benzos to heroin is a foolish mistake that tons of people make. They think that the opposite will help with the withdrawals they are having.

^^I would suggest asking for a longer lasting benzo like kpin, ativan or valium becuase they last all day and you can go without for a few days once you've been taken them for awhile since it stays on your system a long time.
