Why is it no longer possible to delete comments in PMs?

There's several I'd like to delete for personal reasons ; either I was putting shit badly OR I just wanna nullify the entire damn conversation I started inadvertently with some blazing arsehole.

WHY is this no longer possible??!

Thinking back, I don't recall ever deleting a pm. So maybe it was never a possibility. 🤷

This doesn’t cut it because I want them out of my entire history and gone from the Internet. I know I can just leave but especially when the other person is gone, there’s no way to ensure that it’s been deleted on both ends.

I don’t even know what happens if both people leave.

I'm not sure it would be possible to remove on both ends without the consent of both ends. But I can actually remove your dms if that's what you'd like. Either all of them, or within a certain range. Like 1 day, 3 weeks, 7 months, etc.

No, it’s not that big a deal and it’s pretty random over 20 years so it would be kind of a hassle. But if there’s a way that we can change that in the future and I can help make that happen, let me know please!
