Why do Americans say shit about ww2 like "you'd be speaking German if it wasn't for us"?

you were saying everybody in Ukraine is a nazi and the United States is the capital of the nazis
 
Both of you can take this shit back to the lounge. You can call each other all the names you want to over there and nobody cares.

This may be the dive but BLUA applies here much more than in the lounge. What's the point of arguing on 2 different threads anyway.

I counted 28 insults that are blua violations in these pages so take it to the lounge, and keep it there, or I will really piss both of you off instead of you pissing off each other.

Frickin' ridiculous that you both have been carrying on with this for a week now and have generated 30 pages or more of an argument and neither one of you ever has the hopes of conceding to the other. It's not even a valid debate anymore it's just two bullies calling each other names and trying to get one up on the other.

Keep it up in the lounge all ya want but it stops here in CEP/Dive.

The "allies' is one of the biggest bullshit of 20th Century.
Did "allies" defeated Japan? Was australian help so important? Bullshit. USA defeated Japan.
Same for Europe, where France was defeated at the very beggining of the war.
UK had a role in Northen Africa and Middle east, but in Europe they had enough keeping their Island free.

USSR defeated Germany in most Europe. War started on September 1939 and the Normandy thing was only in June 1944, only less than a year before that horrible 6 year war ended.
For any German the " allies" killed, USSR killed 40 of them. For any man the " allies" lost in Europe, USSR lost 50 men. (don't ask me for sources, there are enough, just search and read as it is a nice way of actually learning)

Did you know that the combined casualties from UK and France during WWII were less than those from the Spanish Civil War? Less than the Syrian war against ISIS and its sponsors? Ffs... allies my bollocks.

Wow, did they?? Did the USA kicked germans out of Soviet republics, Baltic ones, Austria, Hungary, Bulgary, Romania, Moldova, Poland, Checoslovaquia, .most Germany... and then they gave it to USSR!??
Libraries have a History section and also a Sci- Fi one, sometimes they are too close and people can make mistake between them. That's the only reason I can see for people buying the " allies" bullshit.

Only USA is to praise for defeating Japan.
In Europe it was USSR who destroyed the main force of the 3th Reich.
We have two indicators:
1- as said, check out casualties numbers.
2- remember how fast, once defeated, nazis ran into the arms of the western military instead of being catch by the russians, why?
Because USSR was totally devastated, just like Germany was later, while France and UK didn't saw that level of destruction and USA never saw a single bomb landing on its territory. Soviets were the enemy nazis hated and feared and the one who finally finished them in the very hole of the beast in Berlin.

Only USA and USSR did it, so pretending that "allies" defeated Germany and Japan is too weak of an idea to stand by.

They did a full Chuck Norris and gave Japan a roundhousekick that hit so hard it defeated Germany in the process

I know, I was just poking a hole.

Fact of the matter is the U.S. is isolated from the rest of the world. Canada and Mexico pose us no threat. I'd also argue tthat the only reason the U.K. survived the war was due to their status as an island nation. Just look at what we had to throw at Japan. Wars across oceans are hard fought and gory.
 
UK did a very good role, their RAF was important in the whole war, not only deffended the Island. They bombed the shit out of Germany and brought support to yugoslav, greek partisanos and others..
But yes, I truly think that being andi island was key.
Don't think they would have had a chance on a continental scenario.

It is scary fitting indeed, and the entire world can see. Ppl shouting "USA Number 1!" to try and counter our arguments is not helping, and just further confirming American stereotypes and prejudice towards them. It's like they want peopleto hate the US.

If more sensitive Americans would speak out more often maybe the world wouldn't think of the US as it does.
