Why are indica strains more common than sativa strains?

I live in Central Florida. I know most brickweed (here it is called "regs") is usually more sativa dominant. But most of the sinse (here we call it "krippy") is more sativa dominant. Why is the sinse almost always indica? Or is it just a Florida thing?

just a regional thing i bet, almost everything here is god damn sativa or sativa dom and i can't smoke those for anxiety reasons so i just don't smoke anymore. Rarely run into strong indica doms or pure indicas, even in the last 10 years of getting high. And we don't get brick weed here, almost everything is insanely high quality hydro (due to our shit growing season). Majority of regular weed here is a pretty even sativa/indica hybrid that's commercially grown but there are plenty of people who sell potent big name strains and lots of talented growers who know their shit, seems like the market here just loves the sativa high.

I believe it is the harsh financial time we live in...personally indicas are more heavier strains than sativas which require you to smoke less, so you are getting more for your $'s worth?

Aren't indica's, in general, supposed to be easier to grow? It's also a bit tougher to fully take advantage of sativa's indoors. You aren't going to get those monster 15 foot tall plants like you can outdoors.
