Who is your "god"?

Whose your god (or goddess)?

I like the bodhisattvas. They're not really gods but they're higher level beings who are here to help us.

I've worked with the idea of animals as gods... like the owl spirit, bear, ravens, etc.

At this point, I'm learning to find god in anything, even just sitting in this room talking on the computer. I'm god talking to god, on a computer which is also god, and we're both part of god that think we're separate unique individuals, etc.

I rarely talk about such things as I believe we all have to find these things in our own way.

For me god is the all the energy in the universe, the pattern in a fractal the last number of Pi, God is everything and I am part of God.

I friend who studied Zen described the human condition to me once as a wave rising out of an infinite ocean of conciousness, the wave seems to exist independently for a short time before returning to the ocean.

As we dig away at the universe and it's particles we are seeing that essentially there is very little of substance there and what is there may or may not be from one moment to the next, we have the solution to the great mystery but to learn to comprehend it is something we can only aspire to. (IMHO)

Abraxas (ΑΒΡΑΞΑΣ)

Ever since I was very suicidal and desperately fighting these urges and out of the depths of my psyche there arose this being whom I asked for help and who gave me a perfect peace which no opium could ever accomplish, and identified as Abraxas.

"Abraxas doesn't take exception to any of your thoughts or any of your dreams. Never forget that. But he will leave you once you become blameless and normal."
—Pistorius

God is a higher being, no one knows what he looks like but he is master of the universe and the superior of all creatures.
