HI Al > i'm new here so thought I'd post something cannabis related> I am a Canadian Medical exemptee who grows indoors and out > I smoke primarily indicas for chronic pain and have extensive knowledge about medical Marijuana and growing as well. sp if anyone either has any questions or has any wquestions about medical MJ pain relief please feel free to ask as I'd love to help anyone out that requires the help> GM

(raises hand) I have a question!
This isn't so much about chronic pain although I quite often have a lot of pain. I've been diagnosed with an astroytoma II (low-grade glioma brain tumor) and it is causing me a lot of focal neuro deficits and also simple partial seizures. Is weed good for any of the above? Not scientific, but when i was smoking 3-4 joints every evening I didn't have near as many neuro problems, but here no dr wants to giove me the excemption. What to do?

I am NOT a Dr but i can tell You that MJ does defenitely lower the intensity of seizures I would suggest a low not soaring high Sativa not an indica which would probably help you out some> As far as an exemption If necessary travel out of province if you have to> I can give You the names of two competent physicians who will sign an exemption for You but ONLY if Youn meet the criteria as they are Dr's who believe in Medical Marijuana but only if it helps treat the ailment involved> Let me know if you're interested and I can PM You the info> WD

I have two questions for you.

Firstly, My girlfriend was in a pretty severe car accident almost 2 years ago. She experienced a LOT of injuries and now has scars to prove it. After these two years she has been diagnosed as having cauda equina syndrome and her doctor has prescribed her Cesemet (a synthetic cannabanoid) she had talked a lot to her doctor about this, and he finds that marijuana is quite beneficial for her. She has started filling out her ontario forms so she can become exempt and start growing. I just want to know what you would suggest to a 20 year old girl who has been smoking pot for ages.

Also, secondly. I suffer from sleep paralysis (I know.. weak argument eh?) and I have talked to my doctor about smoking pot before bed (the only times I have had SP is when I didnt smoke pot that day) My doctor told me to stop smoking marijuana... I clearly don't have a very understanding doctor. Seeing how I wake up hallucinating, unable to breathe or move for more than a minute at a time, and marijuana keeps this at bay, I was offended when my doctor told me to stop.

I got an appointment at a sleep lab where they will hook me up to machines and monitor my sleep. I contacted the toronto compassion centre, I told them about my doctor and his ignorance, and asked them what I should do... they suggested I talk to the sleep lab, the compassion centre said that they will be more understanding of how helful marijuana can be.

What do you suggest I do to become exempt. Not only do I feel that I deserve to be exempt, but I am sick of buying shit pot from inexperienced lying "drug dealers"

Let me know if you're interested and I can PM You the info> WD

Just so you know, you won't be able to send a PM until you have 50 posts. However you can receive PMs, so someone can send you their email address and then you can send them an email from your email account.

:)

Thanx Safety >> I really don't have an answer for You Dr EW 420 as Marijuana exemptions are granted for medical purposes and I don't really know the parameters of qualification> however I do have the names of a couple of Dr's in Toronto who do and will sign exemptions for qualified patients {In their opinions> If you want their names and other info I would be more then happy to supply them for You and The Dr's may or may not choose to sign depending on their opinions> It IS worth a try for sure> WD
