Social Justice White/Straight/Cis/Male Privilege

@w01fg4ng

I don't like "conventionally" (is that a better word?) attractive men/women. I agree. I don't think there is an objective measure. It's just an imperfect term I've heard before and figured it would communicate reasonably well what I was trying to get across.

attractiveness also attracts unsavory types, too.

This is getting a bit weird for me.

So ugly people are "privileged" and pretty people are "privileged"... and white people are "privileged", and black people are "privileged"...

Seems like pretty much everybody is privileged?

I can't think of any advantages of being gay or trans, but they must also exist in at least one other privilege category.

@w01fg4ng

Should this be corrected?

For example, we could have a government program that offers subsidized plastic surgery for ugly people... or we could disfigure people if they're too good looking?

I'm not sure what the best approach is. :unsure:

@w01fg4ng

Come on. Don't tell me you don't find this guy attractive.

For some reason I get censored when I post this in SLR

See, here in this thread it kind of aligns with the topic at hand (though still in a kind of random way).

You are welcome to use that article to start a new thread on the topic of rape or men’s alleged sense of sexual entitlement in SLR. In fact I encourage you to. That would be interesting and constructive.

Lobbing it onto the end of a completely unrelated discussion was not. Although I can suppose there was some kind of logical connection in your mind. I just didn’t see it.

I suppose I'm not allowed to talk about the definition of rape in SLR?

Sure you are. If there is not already a thread on that topic just start a new one. But don’t take another thread on a different topic (like mysogynist language on BL) off on an off/topic tangent.

The view must nice up there.
It’s not so far away. I still hear all your whinging and moaning perfectly clearly up here. Hence the clarificatory posts designed to alleviate your distress. Clearly to no avail. But you know where to find us if you want to play by the SLR rules.

So what is your definition of rape?

this shit went sideways quick o_O

"White male privilege" is just as ignorant as the name "black lives matter".
It creates another barrier keeping us as society farther away from each other. Seriously wish the world would stop fukking crying about this.
As far as actually being a str8 white male in america today....we are the minority. I have no privilege, I get no special treatment. My job sux, I have debt. just like everyone else.
