There's no such thing! Yes Kids, check out history on taking down a free country, demoralization, destabilization, and normalization. "hello new normal?" Read up on Communist history from an actual book! You're very welcome.

Let me make it CLEAR

We are ALL the same, we are people. If you breath Oxygen & need it to stay alive, bleed blood & can talk you are a human & I see you as the same as I am, we're ALL Brother & Sister to each other & ONE FAMILY under the gaze of "God"
How did I miss this little nugget the other day?

Surely you jest?

I sincerely hope so because over the months we've never disagreed on anything and I've "Liked" loads of your posts! :)

Just so that you know:

Your post is noted and I for one shall watch the video sometime today as I have a feeling it's going to be right up my alley! :)

I think white people need to suffer hundreds of years of oppression to even things up.

we should have to kneel at every black persons feet to show we are sorry for what happened to them.
and while we’re kneeling we should suck off any gay men in the vicinity to show solidarity to the gay community.
I so badly wanted to "Heart Like" your post. But then figured I had better make very sure as to whether or not you're being serious or sarcastic? I'm hoping it's the latter of course.

Personally I wish people weren't able to post YouTube videos in the politics section.

I think it's becoming a crutch. And to be fair it's one I've seen both sides of politics engage in.

Id just prefer if people debated each other's arguments, not someone on YouTube arguments.

Ahem. And if I may. The dude used to work for the KGB apparently. Now obviously that'd immediately get my intention. Doesn't mean I going to spend the next few days analyzing and discussing the content thereof.

But the forum member went to the trouble of reading this thread and posting the link as, in her mind anyway, it apparently is relevant. And I figured it'd be a courtesy to say thanks for posting it because there's no doubt in my mind that I'm probably the only person that's going to sit and watch a one hour video (in much the same way as my posts are sometimes too long for people to bother reading them but oh what they're missing! 🤣 )!

I take it then that if I ask you to go watch a movie, relevant not only to this thread but also to our infamous Trump thread(s), you'd not do it. I'll bare that in mind for future! 🤣

It's impressive how off topic we've gotten.

yeah impressive how much it annoys me to have to delete so many posts.

you guys can be in the lounge with a few clicks. (There is also a ceps social thread) No need to create this much extra work for us here.

Excellent!

I'd love to have been in the audience to ask him what his thoughts were on "internal subversion" or "subversion from within"!

Much sounds all too familiar (no matter that he was a defector and speaking of a different era)!

Russia is going to be JUST fine though. 🇷🇺

You're kidding...
Aboriginals in Australia are severely disadvantaged pretty much all across the board. I mean just look at the prisons. Outside prison aboriginals kinda look like their share of the population, in prison, they're a huge proportion.

Go to any NA meeting and they're over represented.

Argue whatever you like for the cause, that's a disadvantage if you're born aboriginal.

And I say this as someone who's previously been called racist against aboriginals. (an extremely white looking aboriginal didn't take kindly to my suggestion that aboriginal specific welfare was racist)

As I said it's not so bad in most of the first world. But when I was homeless with my ex BF, I have a strong suspicion he didn't have to deal with the same kinda fear of being attacked or raped that I did.

I suspect men in general don't worry about it as much.

That's just one example off the top of my head, I'm sure there are others.

Women are disproportionately sexually assaulted and men are disproportionately murdered. I'd rather be sexually assaulted than murdered, but that's besides the point. You can't say that white men have advantages over women unless you also acknowledge that white women have advantages over men. I think we've gotten to a point that it's pretty much equal. Your comment about how it must be so hard to be a white man doesn't make sense to me, for this reason. You can't prove that it's harder to be a white woman than a white man. If you're going to argue that being white is a privilege (I disagree) you shouldn't split the gender. You should realize that you're just as "privileged" as the rest of your race, regardless of gender.

The problem with this is you're talking about statistics, not individuals... and it hurts people (who are white men born into hell) when people make these type of comments. It's also offensive (I imagine) to some Aboriginal people who are raised in a loving supportive environment with everything they need. There are lots of people with Aboriginal ancestry and they don't all think alike.

Individuals aren't statistics. If you're born white, that isn't necessarily an advantage over non-white (Maori / Aboriginal / African American) people.

It does matter. Whether or not Aboriginal people are disadvantaged because of systemic racism is significant. If not, why downplay the problems that white kids have?

Men kill themselves a lot. Statements like yours about how hard it must be to be male don't help. It can be hard to be a man, just like it can be hard to be a woman. It can be hard to be white man. Doesn't matter if it's harder to be something else.

Your comment was a response to nothing. Nobody said it was harder to be white than it is to be Aboriginal or African American. For seemingly no reason whatsoever you just mocked the struggles of a particular demographic.

I'll let you know something. It is hard being me, despite the fact that I'm white and male. My dad had a lot of money too, but I've suffered (for whatever reason) from mental illness and addiction my entire life. I've been through a lot of pain. I've struggled more than a lot of Maori kids I know. Maybe I don't have an excuse, but that doesn't make it easier. If anything, it makes it more difficult... because people make comments like that and I feel even more depressed and like more of a loser. I already hate myself enough, I don't need to be told that life isn't hard for me because of my genitals and my skin pigment.

You don't know what it's like to be a white man.
I don't know what it's like to be a woman.

I would never say, "it must be so hard to be a white woman."

Your comment doesn't help me.

Being a white woman has its perks I suppose, not having any say in my genetics I'm lumped with and lack of any first hand experience being anything else doesn't help with comparisons. I'd prefer to be South American or at least have some melanin, my skin is too pale and subject to sun damage.

It's pretty ridiculous to complain these days about the privilege others have when not that long ago women were not allowed to learn to read let alone have independent lives or careers. That would have just been the norm, fine if being a housewife and mum was the plan but try to have that goal now and see it's just as friends upon as having a job was a couple centuries ago

Men have a natural advantage over women in that they don't have to take time out to raise kids and start again in the work force when kids are grown.

If they get opinions they are sissies for staying home to raise the kids then I'll hand then a tissue, but have better things to do than cast opinions over imaginary people just to argue a point.

I don't give a shit about sexuality, it's got fuck all to do with a person's ability to get ahead in life, anyone who wants to live a certain way has to work at it instead of cry about how unfair life is.

Life is unfair, boo hoo, maybe people have different priorities and don't care about materialistic things, aren't in competition with others, maybe white straight men are just as stereotyped as everyone else.

I doubt any non straight person who has a high level of self confidence would buy into the gender and sexuality hate that seems to stem from people who are self conscious for no reason.

The only way in which that's a natural advantage is that a lot of men don't give a fuck about the kids they have while few women don't. They get women pregnant, they take off and the woman's left with no choice but to either give it up for adoption or raise it.

Is that a biologically influenced difference? Yea probably. But at the end of the day we are fairly intelligent animals capable of higher reasoning and are thus responsible for our actions.

If you had to choose your race, gender, and sexual orientation... and then be placed in a random spot geographically, in a random year throughout the past thousand years, which would you choose?

Do we only get one shot?

Yep. Which options will give you the best odds at survival/thriving in your assigned location?
Ah. Wait a minute. Is this a trick question? Are you only allowed to choose race, gender, and sexual orientation? The rest is, as you say, random and left to chance?

I assume this random spot geographically is somewhere with other people?

The earth is mostly water after all and I don't like those odds. ;)

yes, the year and geographic location is random. You choose your race, gender, and sexual orientation.

Ah well then for me it's easy. White CISGENDER (can you people for the love of God stop talking to me in abbreviations by the way i.e. had to look up "CIS" the other day for this and that other thread), male, heterosexual.

But I'm sure you didn't expect anything different from me.

I assume though that at some point YOU are going to be assigning the rest and thus pointing out the shortcomings of my/our answers right? :ROFLMAO: Cannot see any other reason for asking such a question on a thread with this title! :ROFLMAO:
