I've been wondering if there's a difference to the degree of impact meth has on the cardiovascular system depending on which route you use.

There was speculation long ago about the RC mephedrone being more dangerous when insufflated, not because you end up with one nostril but rather it hit the cardiovascular system harder.

Is there any literature on oral use of meth perhaps being gentler than snorting/injecting/smoking (beyond wrecking lungs, veins and nose- safer for the heart).

I'm going to just guess that oral use would be safest in terms of everything, including less cardiovascular side effects, less tolerance built, less addiction (due to less euphoria), less psychosis due to less redosing, etc.

The slower a drug comes on, and slower it leaves the system, the slower you go from baseline (0 mph) to high (88 mph). The slower that transition, the less subjective euphoria is provided for the user. This means when you go from totally sober to tweaked/nodding/stoned from a standstill, the stronger a drug feels to you.

This is why people think insufflated Oxycodone is stronger than oral Oxy. Even though the BA is only half as much as oral, which means only half the drug gets in your system, people feel like it's the stronger experience.
