Heroin what's the safest way to do heroin?

my friend is doing it and im trying to get her to stop shooting up atleast until i can get her to quit. what would you suggest?
 
Smoking it.

You will fall asleep before you OD.

And buddy, you have exactly ZERO chance of convincing somebody to stop heroin - and why should you, its her choice.

And even if she chooses to stop - its still extremely hard.
 
yeahh but i mean alot to her. i care alot and she's just turned to it for a reason that taking heroin for isn't neccessary... by smoking it do you mean lacing it into a cigarette or joint? or do you mean with foil?
 
Foil.

And most of the heroin users on this board have used heroin regardless of what freinds/family/boyfriend or girlfriend think. Its that powerful a drug. And the hard truth is that heroin makes you happier than anyone person could ever do.

Its pretty much impossible to give up heroin for somebody else. Like I said a heroin addict can only give up when they genuinally want to - but will undoubtedly fail again and again before they (if) ever stop..
 
I disagree I'd say snorting it would be the safest way.
1. The most addicting way to use would of course be by injection, then smoking,then snorting,then eating..
2.Its very unhealthy to smoke from foil. It can cause Alzheimer's disease.

but yea, you can't talk someone out of heroin. Especially if they are already using it. Make sure your friend knows what she is getting herself into. In my opinion, most of the time, you can accomplish the same high and levels of euphoria with pharmies.. You also know exactly what is in them, how much you are using. There is just something about heroin though..
 
Smoking from foil doesn't give you Alzheimer's and it is safer than snorting whether you agree or not - it just is. Far easier to OD from snorting or any other method. All ROA result in the same addiction too - an injector isn't any more or less addicted than a snorter if both have the same intake. Needle fixation is not such a great thing to develop though...

Any route of administration is better than shooting up. The most common one is snorting.

The only problem with snorting is, it costs your friend more money because he/she needs to use more of it that way.

If your friend is close to being out of money, he/she will probably refuse.
 
I know that some who shoots everyday is not anymore addicted. I'm talking about first time use. What methods are more addicting. For instance smoking crack vs. snorting coke.
Snorting vs smoking H, safety wise, is more of an opinion anyway.
and no it's not a proven fact that smoking foil can cause Alzheimer's.
and aluminum, at temperatures below melting point, do not give off gas or vapor.
but compared to snorting it, health wise, I'd think there would be more health problems with smoking..

Thats what I said - urban legend.

And the fact is, is that each line you "run" off of foil, isn't a big enough dose to be the difference between life and death. With snorting though - thats certainly not the case. Each line could certainly take you over.

Like I said, with smoking, you are going to fall asleep before you OD. Also, you know that every clinic/exchange I have been in in the UK recommends smoking heroin as the safest route? This is because its a known fact, it just is...

Yeah, smoking anything isn't good for you - but when you put it in context (USING HEROIN), thats pretty much the last thing to be concerned about..
 
I know this prob isn't a popular suggestion - and probably some-what weird to some people but u can swallow heroin and that's safest IMO. Wrap the drugs in rollies (ciggie papers) for one - slower hit, can loose strength to the dose aswell :( btw. When snorting or plugging your nasal membrane and arsehole can tear they are fairly delicate, and anytime blood;s involved I freak out and think that's really unsafe espesh using around others - swallowing reduces the risk of bleeding externally - but you can get a sore stomach, cos it ain't made for oral use like a pill is? u know what I mean? Anything that gives your veins a break is good tho ;)
Would be interested to know if anyone can educate me further on this and dispute this? All info is appreciated!

Oral absorption is around 35%... Not great, but not completely wasteful either. Smoking is like 50% absorption and snorting is just over that on average. This is relative to IV, which is considered 100%.
