Whats the greatest myths you've heard 4 drugs?

1. Alcohol- It's harmless
2. Weed- Smoking makes you dumber
3. Ecstasy- Take more than 17 rollz in your life and you(Males) wont be able to produce a child.
4. Coke- One line and your an addict.
5. Shrooms- At one Shroom trip in your life you'll see Goblins/ Leperchans.
6x. Acid- One hit and you'll never be as smart again.
7. ALL DRUGS----- They will ruin your life with family and friends.8)
Those are the greatest ones I've heard.
How about yall/
 
One I've heard a lot is that acid/ecstasy will mess up your spine/spinal fluid by making a deadly bubble or crystal in your spine which drains your spinal fluid (or something along those lines).

a friend of mine takes IQ tests yearly when he was seventeen he tried acid a couple times the next time he took the test he raised 11 points from the 3 previous years
 
You can get stuck in an acid trip. This one pisses me off because all my friends believe it so noone wants acid, the friends who have tried acid loved it but said they wont do it again for fear of getting stuck inside. So frustrating.

Holes in your brain and spinal fluid leaking from taking pills.

They put glass in pills so they cut your stomach up and the pills hit faster.

If you take benzo's you will be doing heroin next.

The turning into an orange or glass of orange juice if you take acid.

You cant OD on meth (LMFAO!!!) that one annoyed me, I used to take so much meth because I actually believed them. Now I have limits.

That speedy pills are a mix of speed and K(or acid) and smacky pills are speed and heroin.

When you snort a line it goes straight to your brain.

I could go on forever but I wont, youve probably heard them all.

Pot is not addictive(psychologically)
 
-It's easy to Overdose on LSD

-LSD stays in your spine forever

-Ecstasy pills contain Crack Cocaine

-Ecstasy puts holes in your brain

-Spinal-tap drug tests can detect any drug you've ever taken

-Smoking Cannabis doesn't have any adverse effects on the brain
 
Some X does have heroin.

A story to go along with these myths:

My friend has actually physically met someone who snapped during an acid trip and was never the same. He was at a party at a hippie commune, and he met a guy who was basically spoon fed by the hippies and had to be dressed and everything. Most of the time he couldn't talk, he could only mumble. This happened to him years ago while he was tripping.

So while it is certainly an exception to the rule and not the rule, and I'm sure it's probably genetically related, perhaps there is some truth to the myth.
 
Lucky Strike Cigarettes are called "Lucky Strike" because, "in the old days", one in x number of packs had one spliff in, so its a "lucky strike"

That's the only documented example that I know of out of thousands of pills laboratory tested, and if you read the page you'll see that due to the quality of the press and the absence of any similar pills most believe that it was a singly-pressed pill created for ulterior motives.

wow thats one of the stupidest things i've ever heard. Theres all sorts of weird myths about ecstasy or acid and spinal fluid.
as soon as i start to hear someone talk nonsense drug talk i just walk away or don't listen.

If you take acid more than 7 times you're considered legally insane
Ecstasy eats holes in your brain/spinal fluid story
The first time you take ecstasy you have a 50/50 chance of dying
 
LSD seems to generate the most urban myths. A few I have heard:

- LSD collects in your spinal fluid, and flashbacks are caused by the release of "acid crystals" (a girl I knew in college claimed she could induce flashbacks by stretching her back the right way)

- Blotter is cut with strychnine, or cyanide, or heroin, or coke (all laughable because none of those substances would have the slightest effect in microgram quantities)

- The government has a test that will show if someone has done acid more than 10 times, and if a person tests positive, they can be involuntarily committed to an asylum for life
