Right now I am stacking jack3d for my pre workout and Cellmass for my post workout. So far I am having amazing results, and its nice not shitting my brains out anymore(I was using NO Explode before I got jack3d.) What supplements do you use? And if this is in the wrong forum, feel free to do your thing mods.

I just make sure my food intake is good so I have plenty of energy but that I'm not too full pre-weight workout and sometime remember to take a bit of extra creatine and glutamine but not always.
Post workout I have a fairly stock standard whey protein with glutamine and creatine in it.

Before and after running I use the glutamine as well. But I also take a few capsules of BCAA that help prevent me going into a catabolic state. I bought them before reseaching them fully. It is probably heaps cheaper just to buy a regular protein powder and check the BCAA levels in that. But I'll keep going down this path till they run out.

Other than that I just take magnesium daily since I never seem to be able to get enough in my diet.

I've tried the NO explode twice with a friend who bought it and it does seem to make squeezing out the last few reps a bit easier but I wouldn't say it is game changing stuff. For me at least. So I figured I was better off spending the money on other stuff.

almonds and banana before workout; greek yogurt and banana afterwards.

Jack3d is great, no magnesia so really helps with the whole pooping issue. I'm using scivation quake 10.0 plus a little l-arginine and creatine mono. Post workout I consume roughly 40 grams of protein with some quick carbs like fruit

1 h pre - oatmeal and banana milkshake.

I have no post workout shake. I have a chocolate (been proven to help) and whey protein shake containing 70g maltodextrin and 5g creatine. I also include some medicinal cannabis as well since this also helps. The idea that cannabis has an adverse level on testosterone and sperm counts is a myth, partly stemming from bad research and partly from drug propaganda.

My post-workout just consists of a protein shake with glucamine. Pre-workout is mainly just protein and carbs.

early morning, weight gain protein + 1 ZMA tab,
pre work out, N.O Xplode
post work out, weight gain protien + 1 ZMA tab

works well for me, n.o xplode is a bit to sweet tasting for me but works good.

What results have you seen from supplementing with ZMA? Any effects on libido, sleep improvements, acne, etc...?

i eat a can of tuna through the day, one scoop of Optimum Nutrition whey protein (aprox 24g), one or two scoops of creatine (aprox 5g per scoop) pre,

and another one or two scoops of whey after

ive tried those energy suppliments like amped and superpump but they make me anxious and give me heart palps. plus they taste like shit

no protein?
I forgot about that haha. Yeah I drink a protein shake after I workout, but its usually 20-30 minutes later.

Can't forget about medical marijuana(: It does wonders for soreness the day after.

One cup almonds has 30 grams protein. Greek yogurt has ~20g protein / serving.

I had no idea that almonds contained that much protein. I'm about to go buy a bunch thanks.

Would protein from almonds or whey protein be better for muscle development? In your opinion of course.

In my opinion, being healthy trumps being a muscle-bound-mass. I imagine that a large majority of people that lift weights aren't going to agree with me, but ingesting all those chemicals to get 30 grams of protein in a convenient post-workout shake just isn't worth it for me; I'd rather be healthy and happy getting protein from natural sources--call me crazy...

hey mate,

took about 2 weeks to notice full effects on the zma im taking..
i had a previous problem with acne growing up, not such a problem now but ive noticed a improved skin tone (altho i got badly sun burnt the other day).
zma has certainly improved my quality of sleep, if i dont drink prior to sleep i know im in for a good refreshing sleep.

libido, not really much has changed, im was a horny rabbit prior to use of zma.
another thing is i have noticed an increase of facial/bodily hair... sort of a benefit to me comming from less hairy genetics.. but as far as i have researched i have found that zma can turn testosterone into dht which is involved in the production of facial + bodily hair. not 100% in genetic make up or what not, thats just an experience of mine. works well for a post workout recovery aid. nd its dirt cheap

pre-workout -

Anti-oxidants from varied sources. Berries, fruits, veggies, green tea, acai, supplements. This is very important to combat oxidants that are produced in the metabolism of sugar for energy.

I usually prefer fruit and grains in tandem about 30 minutes before a workout. It loads my system with carbohydrates to immediately utilize and covers my need for anti-oxidants. I'll also drink some caffeinated tea or coffee, take a gel cap multi-vit and extra b, c, d, and e vits as they are all anti-oxidants as well.

A toke of sativa dominant ganja to really zone into the workout and keep me focused.

post-workout - Fruit immediately after. This is important to replenish glucose stores and to get another dose of anti-oxidants.

A good 20-30 oz of water treated with collodial silver.

About 30 minutes after that a large serving of protein.

At night I'll occasionally take a product called Somatamax. It helps with sleep and supposedly stimulates the production of HGH.

bump! looking for something pre-workout to give me the energy to crank out the last few reps, when i hit my limit i hit it hard and fast and i feel like i'm leaving a lot of gains at the table because of it :(

i typically don't eat for hours before a workout because i start really feeling like shit halfway through if there is anything in my stomach.

post-workout i take glutamine with whey.

what are you talking about? whey is separated from milk, it's not synthetic and neither are the other nutrients added to the whey powders to increase their effectiveness. almonds are great because they're cheap but they are nothing compared to the effectiveness of protein powders. if anything, you're going to be healthier and happier from a quality whey recipe than you'd be from a fistful of almonds. hell, i don't even know why whey powders are refered to in the same sentence as supplements because it's not a SUPPLEMENT, it's just as much energy-rich food as a sandwich or a slice of pie. mmmm pie

this colloidal silver business is a scam, or so i was told in no uncertain terms by two doctors who are also highly respected professionals in the fields of microbiology and orthomolecular medicine, which is the area of study the colloidal silver manufacturers claim it belongs to.

pre: caffeine or nothing. once in a blue moon when i want to rage, 2g creatine
post: whey mixed with water or skim milk. if no whey, MRB
