One of my favourite festivals is a very small affair with only 500 tickets, at which one year, one of the organisers was overheard briefing the security team with the words '...and if you catch anyone doing lines on the bar or the dance floor, tell them to go and do it in their tents or vehicles....'

sounds like the right kind of festival, in every sense :)

i agree that festivals should be a place society deems it perfectly acceptable for people to take drugs (in the wider community, not just festival goers or drug users), rather than a sniffer dog field-day for law enforcement.

i'd like to see an international agreement to implement harm reduction measures and an end to drug prohibition globally. a reformist, evidence-based United Nations summit to promote law reform and admit to failing in fighting a war on drugs.
models for legalisation, regulation and quality control of various drugs could be presented and debated. samples of various pharmaceutical treats could be shared among delegates in order to dispel any fears or taboos that they may have about people altering their consciousness with something other than booze.

the weapons manufacturers will realise they can make even more money as legal drug manufacturers, and the military industrial complex will collapse, leaving humanity to enjoy our remaining years on earth in peaceful, stoned bliss (til the arctic tundra thaws and we all died suddenly from a massive bubble of methane from the sea). happily ever after.

Why do I even bother posting if he's going to cut out 6 words out of a post that's 131 words long and act like it's not cherry picking. I'm off to binge house of cards.
See you in hell madafakaaaaaa.

Don't do that bullshit "I simply do not like one billion of my fellow humans, that doesn't make me kind of fucked-up or a bigot or anything."

You criticize individuals and specific policies, not some cross-dressing straw-man.

I'll correct you. I simply do not like the 7.4 billion of my fellow humans.

Right on swilow. Some universities (not many I assume) offer free online studies. I believe MIT is one of these places.

Okay, none of this is ever going to happen, but in theory I were some sort supreme King that could just have everything I wanted: 1. Fully legalize cannabis and all serotogenics (not just morning glory seeds... which I'm personally lucky enough to have as one of my faves :) but legalize mushrooms and L too of course). Cannabis should be regarded the same as alcohol. They should have a bunch of different strains just like they have different beers available. It's actually sound advice as far as HR is concerned. People would likely use cannabis at times as opposed to alcohol, thus preventing cases of cirrhosis and other health problems caused by alcohol. 2. Have a healthcare system that provides all citizens with coverage 3. Any person who makes over 250k per year that doesn't pay their fair share of taxes should get life in prison and have their citizenship permanently revoked. ..... possibly, I think that they should tax people making over 250k per year at an inordinatly high rate and those making less than 250k should pay no taxes at all (this would actually work mathematically I think)... that's pretty much it as far as my stance on tax evasion :) 4. Have heroin, benzos, meth, crack, and every other shitty addictive drug available too just maybe not allowing it for sale. This would be sound advice for HR purposes as it would prevent deaths due to withdraws and also encourage people to go to rehab for drug addiction if they need to. 5. Have publically funded rehab facilities that are available free of charge with no questions asked for anyone who feels that they need to detox in a safe environment. LandsUnknown for president in 2020 lol :)

Free education. That's something I would like to see.

Things are changing in the work force.

There are a lot of fields that would be better off taught as a trade or technical study combined with on the job training.

When I went through uni there were limited work olacements and most study was lecture based.

A lot of degrees can be reworked to be half study/exam and half apprenticeship work placement.

More work experience equals employability.

Free education would be more likely if uni places were inclusive of entry level work too.

It sure about durzo but I ok with gay guys, it's the over the top flamboyant o es I don't like. The ones that call other blokes girlfriend and shit like that.
