What is the era of drugs today

Seems like drugs change and continue to Change.
There once was a time LSD was much more available. Cocaine was better quality and MDMA flooded the streets, barbiturates and other old drugs that I'll never have a chance to try.

What I've been thinking is someday persription pills won't do shit. My theory is we will find better ways to treat adhd/add. Better pain killers. Basically drugs that won't get you high but still get the job done. Street drugs will become a lot more common and heroin and methamphetamine will be everywhere.

Where is the future of drugs. Drugs will ALWAYS be around but in different forms. What forms though???

They are already making scary strong versions of already strong drugs.
Like Flakka in place of meth

Yeah RC's have wound up in everything sounds like a lot of shitty methylone and a-pvp in the US. Then things like that wind up being sold as or used to cut drugs like MDMA and coke. Even in europe I've come across a-pvp in coke. Just an edgy paranoid high, and looks like they're marketing it as "flakka" so it catches on with the youths.

these are observations from BL.

Uppers -> teens/adults scripted amps ||| teens/adults abusing (meth)/amps

Downers -> teens/adults scripted opioids/benzos ||| teens/adults abusing painkillers, strong benzos and heroin

Hallucinogens -> teens/adults constantly doing and trying new RC dissociatives/psychedelics

Ecstasy -> few teens/adults testing their rolls. the rest blindly abusing dangerous RCs and in result being counter-productive towards the movement.

it seems like almost every month there's a new RC out and a new report on a kid dying on another random RC.
it seems like almost every day some lost teen/adult is trynna IV some opioid/heroin and 'fix' their problems.
it seems like almost everyday some kid's meth/amp induced paranoia is causing some panic in their head and some strange reaction takes place so they quickly ask BL if that swelling may just be from the meth or the dirty syringe.
it seems like almost every fucking day there's someone slaving to the addiction of benzos and opiates stuck on a fucking hamster wheel desperately trynna escape the hole their psychiatrists/doctors or they themselves dug.

today we are in the age of hedonism. the drugs commonly abused today are just these so called 'medicines'. other than these pharms, the streets are loaded with research chemicals and dangerous RC-laced dope.

i have no single idea on what this all means for the future of drugs. but i can say that it isn't helping prohibition.

Well drugs will be more receptor-selective, we'll probably have a drug that acts like a pleasure botton in the brain as well as drugs that do all kind of incredible things as we continue to understand the brain and our body's chemistry.
The way people will react to that (biologically and socially) depends a lot on how we (or the poeple in charge) choose to integrate them into our society. Who knows really... things are always changing

Solid ass reply my nikka

Fuck all that experimental drug shit.

As for the availability of The Main Drugs I've noticed withIn the last 3 years Meth and Heroin is Everywhere and isn't really Cut if you know the right people. Cocaine has been coming in Hot for a while it's just more expensive and a shorter high so only people that have Unlimited Funds usually only fuck with it on the Regular. Weed has been Potent for years and is not as illegal so everyone does it.
The only thing that seems harder to get is Pills since the DEA crackdown which has just made more Heroin addicts.

There's so much shit coming in now a days, things have never been better for anyone looking for anything they want and always a supply for the Addicts.

I agree that LSD is really hard to get these days, especially high strength LSD. The last dealer I bought from got stuff right off the plane from the Netherlands. After that guy ended up in jail I never found an equivalent supply ever again, to my chagrin.

I'm really impatiently waiting for the discovery of some new receptor and thus a completely new drug class with yet unique effects :)

Candidates from the recent time could be - selective kappa agonists (like salvinorin a), or sigma agonists, also the alpha-2-delta ligands like pregabalin that have interesting acute effects in high dosages ... but these all are already known.

Also it seems to be possible to further differentiate between the anaesthetic and the dissociative psychedelic activities of e.g. ketamine which is very very interesting.

I'd bet there are receptors we don't know about yet!

It is heartwarming to see how close people can grow on an online forum. Wish I had the opportunity to get to know ykm as it seems like he was a nice dude.

Wow man doesn't sound good, I didn't even know anything happened to him. Didn't really know him either but also made me laught

I think Blank nailed it. In my opinion, the state of drugs and drug culture is pitiful. Too much ignorance, and too many greedy assholes. Everyone just wants to get fucked up, and they care too little about what they are actually consuming.
