From what I can gather, growing conditions matter much more than genetics when dealing with ornamental poppy cultivars. Especially when dealing with cultivars that have never been studied for their alkaloid content.

Do you have any resources you would advise? After reading Opium For The Masses it seems like I immediately hopped over to acedemic literature, but I've always hoped that some sort of Ed Rosenthal-like figure would arise from the poppy scene with something along to Rosenthal's writings, which are somewhat massive tomes of knowledge he's accumulated over decades.

Hydroponic heroin is another book i'd recommend. Ive also found some surprisingly informative government sources, including This DOJ report from 1992. There are other great academic papers out there as well that I can't remember off of the top of my head, and I bet there are more I have simply yet to find. I suggest going through wikipedia bibliographies, they are a gold mine. If you ever need to get past a paywall, I suggest using a website like Annas Archive, I cannot recommend them enough and they have been invaluable to my reading.

Swiss manufacturer is the largest producer/manufacturer of 100% PURE Pharmaceutical Diacetylmorphine HCL USP in 10 gram glass jars (to be constituted with a sterile carrier for IV/IM/SC injection. They also manufacture Diaphini oral tablets of Diamorphine (100mg scored tablets & 200mg XR tablets) I would imagine these 100mg scored Diaphini tablets would be pulverized and dissolved in sterile water for IV injection.
