What is codein for ? I mean whats the effect on you

I know that it gets converted into morphin and its an opiod but i remember when i was taking it for 2 weeks im sure that i havent feel anything.
Is it good for sleep ?

How much are you taking?

Codeine is quite mild at <50mg. It doesn't start to feel like a real opioid until 100-200mg.

That's just my experience.

Great for sleep, unless you are prone to opioid induced insomnia.

Codeine is basically prescribed for coughs not for anything like pain. It doesn't give you the same kind of high that you'd expect from stronger opiates such as Hydrocodone, Oxycodone or other opiates. As for myself I don't really get too much an effect off Codeine either.
