Besides THC. As in, what are the other components of marijuana that produces the effect of the high?

CBD does play a roll in getting you high. I think it what makes you get that lazy high but im not sure. I herd a rumor that BC Bud doesnt have CBD in it but im not entirely sure about that

thats obviously bullshit, im sure most BC bud is often quite indica, since indica plants have better yeilds, and grow shorter inside,

bc bud isn't anything special, its the same quality as ontario bud, and quebec hydro, it just depends on the skill of the growers, and the quality of the genetics,

I found this site.

from the site the guy linked to above
THCV (Tetrahydrocannabivarin) is found primarily in strains of African and Asian cannabis. THCV increases the speed and intensity of THC effects, but also causes the high to end sooner. Weed that smells strong (prior to smoking) might indicate a high level of THCV.

I believe the individual taste of the strain of weed has alot to do with certain people enjoying it more than others.

I know what kinds I like, usually lighter colored stuff, the individual smells matter alot to my enjoyment of the smoke itself

I believe there are over 80 psychoactive chemicals that release and bind that effect your high. CBNs and CBDs are most likely the answer you were looking for.

To whomever listed THCv as a positive aspect of the plant, it is actually a CB1 antagonist - it BLOCKS the binding of THC.
